Very friendly owner, nicely equipped apartment. Perfect for long/short-term stay. The terrace was indeed a great touch. Perfect for evening relax!

The apartment was nice. Marco was lovely and friendly.

Location was awful, streets were filthy & we felt very intimidated by neighbours. I was so unhappy that we left for 3 days and moved to another area, paying for additional accommodation. Electric power to apartment went off on several occasions, the first on the evening we arrived had us with our phone torches searching for the meter cupboard, found 3 flights down. My electrician husband was able to spot that the power switch had tripped & reinstate power. To leave the building you had to use key to unlock the front door, this would contravene all UK fire standards & I would worry how to escape if a fire occurred. I was too uncomfortable to leave during hours of darkness so cooked all evening meals: lack of an oven limited options for an easy dinner such as pizza or ready made lasagnes.

Centrally located near train station and the main pedestrian area. Rooftop terrace was amazing for a glass of wine in the evening. Comfortable bed and great communication with host

Kids in nearby buildings were a bit loud sometimes at night, but it’s a city, not something unexpected.

There was nothing to like other than the bathroom that had been recently remodeled. But the whole place was depressing - from the narrow alleyway that we had to walk through - right through what would be considered a slum in any major city - to the narrow stairwell that we had to carry our luggage up - to the extremely cramped space - the apartment was described as 45 sq mts - it could not have been more than 30 sq mts - it would have been impossible to have opened our suitcases without falling over them.

The location - it was in the middle of a slum! While it was 5 minutes away from some of the main tourist attractions, it was on the wrong side of the tracks. Both my wife and I had this general feeling of depression come over us as we reached the place. We shared that concern with the host and asked if he could move us to one of his other properties - there are the Vespri Suites that are at a different location - but even though they had availability, he declined, giving some vague excuse. We had booked the place for 2 nights - it was a non-refundable booking - but it was not worth the money to subject ourselves to having to spend even 5 minutes, let alone a night at this miserable place. We booked ourselves into a nearby hotel - the Eurostars Centrale Palace Hotel - it was only a few Euros more and it was 100 times nicer! Don't get fooled by the nice pictures and monogrammed towels that Vespri has on its site - the pictures include a lot of common areas that are shared with the adjacent apartment - the actual apartment is so small, there was no place to open one's luggage. There is a tiny table with two chairs squeezed into the kitchen to make it appear to be a dining area - it is really just the kitchen. This place is a complete fraud. I have no idea how it has received such good reviews from other guests. It has absolutely nothing to recommend!
