Casa Gaia Palermo

The apartment is fantastic, everything you need for a holiday in Palermo. Beds are very comfortable, and we were picked up from the airport which was a huge help. Waiting for us at the apartment were local pastries, wine and everything you need to recharge after a flight. We were made to feel very welcome. The apartment is very secure, has a great shower and air conditioning. The rooms are light and airy, with plenty of space. It is extremely clean and tidy. The location is perfect, a few minutes from the botanical gardens and sea front in one direction, in the other direction there are shops, markets, restaurants and cafes. The area has a combination of tourist oriented bars and restaurants, those selling Sicilian specialities, and more local places. You could get everything from gourmet slow food through to slices of pizza. There is also a Lidle close by. Everything we wanted to see or do was well within a 20 minute walk. Roberto and Cinzia's recommendations were all fantastic. We would not hesitate to come back.

The hosts are very friendly. They have provided everything in the flat. The comfortable and beautiful flat has a very good location, close to the main station and the old town, but it is quiet. I have enjoyed my stay.

Excellent communication with Roberto beforehand regarding the check in process and a very warm welcome from Cinzia and Gaia upon arrival. This apartment was absolutely brilliant and provided us with everything we needed during our stay in Palermo. Spotlessly clean, very quiet, close to the main bus and train stations and an easy walk to the centre. The numerous personal touches including a bottle of wine, fruit, water, juice, beer, pasta,, tuna, sauce and useful amenities like hairdryer, great quality cooking facilities and utensils, washing machine and drying rack reflect the care that the hosts have for their apartment and guests and made our stay the best we have had in many years of travelling.
