Great location and spacious apartment

We found out about the air conditioner not working on arrival (if known I would have booked elsewhere). The apartment is in direct positioning of the sun so it got very hot and humid in the room despite being ~28 degrees Celsius which was a shame because of the positives above. This factor made it uncomfortable to sleep. There was no fan in the room despite the airconditoner issue and no reply when we requested one.

The location and streamlined decor suited as well.

The fridge door did not stay closed, so food was not safe. The apartment is on a busy road, so needed to keep windows closed to minimise noise. There were three chairs - four would have been useful, when friends called in for coffee. An iron would have been appreciated. Demolition noise started at 0530.

To be clear: my biggest complaint is the value of this place. If this were half the price, it would be a comfortable, casual, spacious B and B experience with a great location. Unfortunately, for the same price as a budget hotel, it wasn’t very clean, there were no amenities or toiletries, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, there was no control over the heat and it was on such a noisy street that opening the windows were impossible, so it was sweltering all night.
