"Very spacious, very well equipped apartment with amazing views"

10.0

The view... You see the ocean from all windows, all sides. It is also a very spacious apartment and this feels. Each bedroom has a bathroom attached. Living room is spacious. Noone felt cramped. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. The knives are sharp, cups/plates/cutlery plenty (often in rentals the knives are so overused that they don't cut anything at all). This was pleasantly different in Azure. Washing machine, dryer, even beach umbrella. What not :) The apartment is not very new - looks pre-Ikea :D, which is also nice, as so many rentals are furnished all the same with Ikea stuff. As a side note. For me the firmness of the mattress and the size of the pillow was just right. Those were the only nights during our stay in Portugal when I woke up without discomfort on the back or neck.

Mouldy smell when we entered. We could air the living room/kitchen/hallway easily (also just by chance we had some incense). But the air in the bedrooms was stuffier. In the master bedroom it stayed (although not so concentrated) for the duration of the stay. I understand that this is the issue with the most of seaside apartments, which are not lived in throughout the entire year. We were visiting before the season. Possibly, during the season this stuffy air issue is less noticeable.

"Good"

7.0

Very roomy, clean and comfortable. The decor was very well done. the accessories in the kitchen were good.

The location was on top of a hill with a lot of wind. Very high winds. The door had a finicky lock that was very hard to unlock especially with arthritic hands The floorplan is not wheelchair accessible

"Killer views, peaceful neighborhood near small, bay town."

Beautiful view north and south on the coast! Nice outdoor pool, modern furnishings, washer dryer and full kitchen was great for lounging.

Needed some additional supplies: face cloths and extra towels, toilet paper and paper towels.
