LOVELY FLAT FIRA MWC

It's a good location, close to several different stations and bus stops so it's easy to get into Barcelona. It's within walking distance to a big supermarket as well as smaller shops. There is a small but usable kitchen but it's tired looking. There is a washing machine and stands to dry clothing on but those are the only redeeming features unfortunately. The photos paint a rosier picture than the reality. It's worth reading all the reviews for this property - arrange them in date order, not the order suggested by the website which hides the more negative (realistic) ones

Despite two bathrooms there was no functioning shower during our stay as the water didn't get hot in either and one was missing a handle (see picture). The owner visited but did not fix this and was very dismissive that this was a problem. He suggested we wanted to take too many showers and that as the weather was good it didn't matter that the water was cold! We had booked for four nights and eventually left after two to stay elsewhere and be able to access a hot shower. We were only refunded for one night so were left out of pocket. Looking at other reviews, it seems that showers have been an issue before and it's just not be dealt with. Additionally when we arrived the sheets were dirty. The owner did come and change them but again denied it was an issue. Pictures attached. I spent hours trying to resolve these issues with the owner and booking.com and as a result of this terrible experience I won't be using them again. The sound proofing is also very poor and you hear a lot of noise from the courtyard and surrounding area. Given the scale of the other problems, this seemed a minor annoyance. There was also an odd quirk of the lighting not working in the bathroom so the owner had put a lamp instead. Overall this place is not well cared for and feels neglected and sad.

Had issues with the shower and warm water. Host had to replace the geyser which affected our stay and ability to shower. Location is quite far from the centre

very spacious,clean with all the things you need in a trip to feel comfortable. 5minutes from the metro station.

Very nice flat, well equiped. Idea localisation to attend events at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via. Close from metro station in direction of both airport and "city center".

Location was great, apartment was clean, host was very helpful with recommendations. Our flight was delayed on the way to Barcelona, and host was very accommodating about new check in time

Aircon machine emitted loud noises every few minutes. Beds not very comfortable, we thought they were a bit hard. Host messaged the morning of checkout asking us to be out by 9.30 even though checkout was listed as 11 on the booking.
