Apartamentos Hotel Parque

Buena situación, cerca de la Universidad, de la zona histórica y de la estación de autobuses. Cómodo, amplio y bien dotado ( microondas, vitrocerámica, lavadora, tendedero.. ) habitación y salon amplios. La recepción del hotel nos facilitó amablemente las llaves, llegamos muy tarde

Mala ventilación de accesos y escalera, tendrían que dejar abrir ventanas de escalera

Spacious and very modern apartment with all you need, even a tumble dryer, and the bed is the best I have ever slept in. Lots of towels too, so no stress with getting them washed. The placement is excellent next to Triana. The traffic noise from the main street below can be immense, so you probably do not want to have the balcony door open, but there’s great air conditioning in the apartment – both in the living room and the bedroom. The communication with the host was clear and easy. There was a little bit of a hassle to open the main entrance door from the street, as the lock needed a “gentle and special touch” to open. The maintenance guy showed me how to pull the key a little bit out before turning it (they really should fix that lock). The same guy showed up within five minutes after I messaged the host that the room safe was malfunctioning (needed new batteries), so the service was impeccable.

The wifi is way below the rest of this apartment’s standard. They share the same wifi as the Sercotel Hotel in the same building (!) and that router must be rather far away. We never had more than 2/3 signal strength, which is bad. And in the evenings, when the guests at the hotel obviously used their wifi more, our connection became unstable and plain useless. The host said it should work ok when I complained, but nope it doesn’t! When they offer you so much quality in the rest of the apartment, it seems silly not to have an own router with acceptable wifi.

We enjoyed the view from the balcony and the living area. The kitchen was excellently appointed and beautiful. It was easy to communicate with the agent and he was very responsive.

The air conditioning unit in the living room was not powerful enough to get enough cool air into the bedroom. It was warmer than we would have wanted.

Location was central in San Telmo district, across the bus station from the Gran Canaria Airport It is a fairly big apartment with all the facilities: TV, WIFI, A/C, Fridge, Washer & Dryer, Cooking facilities, restaurants and supermarkets around the property Walking distance to the historical center.

The collection of the keys -even with the video's tutorials- is not friendly, and to open the street door... is tricky.

Clean, modern and good location

No kettle and would have liked larger cups/mugs for coffee/tea.
