Ocean View Design Apartment Puerto Rico

Good location, lovely views and the apartment had everything you needed for your stay, the owners meet you at the property, they were friendly and showed us what we needed to know, it was a convenient location, we had a great stay and would definitely go back!

The only thing that was unusual was that the curtains didn't fully close but I knew that from the reviews I had read.

The location was okay, but it wouldn't be suitable if you were disabled as it's located on the hill but also has limited access for wheelchairs or disabled carriages. The pool was clean.

The apartments are obviously a mix of residential and holiday lets . The apartment we stayed in was very tired and badly in need of updating. The curtains didnt fit the windows, the nets have holes in them and the windows were pretty dirty, there was a very old small stand alone fan unit, which didn't work properly and was very noisy, whilst we could switch the TV on there were no channels and we couldn't watch anything. Most of the ceiling lights do not work. In general it was very disappointing that the apartment had no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures that are advertised on booking. com The toilet and shower were quite disgusting as it was all so old. The towels were old and of very poor quality. It's named Ocean view on booking.Com but it's actually Puerto Sol apartments and Ocean view does not appear anywhere in the address, which is very confusing. We only managed to find it by the actual address as we had hired a car. The complex is gated and locked and you need a key to get in and out. We were told to leave the keys in the apartment when we left, which made it difficult as one of us had to hold the gate whilst the other one went back to the apartment to leave the keys. There is a code for the swimming pool and the rep gave us the wrong code, but luckily someone else gave it to us. The pool area was quite nice and clean but there are no other facilities in this complex. We wouldn't book this again.

A responsible and responsive host with excellent English. Great location with excellent transport links. The beach is nearby. It’s a quiet place, even though it’s in the city center. The pool is very clean. It’s the warmest and relatively least windy place on the entire island at the end of December. The room is well-equipped with kitchenware, a coffee maker, a microwave, and even a bottle of wine)) Nearby, there’s the “Angry Birds” kids’ park and mini-golf. The water park is also not far away. A wonderful view from the window both day and night. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

The room was quite clean, pool area was great, location ok.

There was no air-conditioning, the temperature was high all the time. Air didn't chance at all. And worst thing were the curtains. Precisely, the lack of them. The sun and light ( and warmth) came through right were you slept. The bed was horrible. 😟

The owner of the apartment and Eric who looked after it, really put my safety as a solo traveller above all else, making it a priority. It was so much appreciated. The apartment was beautifully clean. Half way up the bank so not too much up hill walking. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

Nice- all around

I loved that it was in walking distance to The Commercial Centre & that it wasn’t right located at the front , a little to the back of the area so there wasn’t any of the bar music noise . The property was extremely private and Very peaceful. Felt so at ease especially that I was by myself :)

The curtains SHOULD be changed . This was a major issue for me as the pole was constantly hanging off and it’s hard to trying to go to sleep with the lamps from outside shining in and in the morning too, ~ On holidays you really should be able to have a lie in . Very hard too with the brightness . Also the TV didn’t turn on … Didn’t really matter as I was constantly out but maybe even if there was a small radio, that would take the complete quietness out of the studio .

The appartment was small but very well organized. The host was very good and we ask to stay longer on the last day because we had a late flight. They had no bookings on that day. Technically we got an extra day because we were able to enjoy the beach on the last day and flight at night time

The curtains did not fit window so you couldn’t have a lie in please buy curtains that fit so you can have a lie in if you want one we’re on holiday
