Quiet area of town - about 10 minute walk from main area. Spacious - nice roof terrace

WiFi didn't work in bedroom. Apartment furnishings a bit dated - not the best value for money. Bedroom window is right on a walkway so shutters have to be kept shut

View was nice

No personal service at all only via telephone once at arrival

We booked spontaneously but the host quickly sorted out access. The flat had a nice view and a large roof terrace was accessible as well.

The kitchen was nice but could use a few more pans, knives and general equipment for social cooking.

The location and the view

It felt like the bare minimum has been provided. The drains didn't always smell great and the gas wasn't connected when we arrived.

The view, spaciousness and location

No instructions to operate induction hob or anything else. Washing machine tripped the electricity leaving us in darkness. Had to wring out half washed clothes at 10 pm . Apartment flooded , had to use towels to mop up then bale out washing machine by hand. Exhausted but did not sleep as only sheets( no blankets) provided so both of us very cold. No answer to our phone calls the next morning. Eventually supplied with blankets but concerned for next user’s reason washing machine. Our first day in San Sebastián ruined

Spacious lounge/kitchen

It was like being in a cell. The small patio, outside the lounge was surrounded by a 2 metre high wall which totally blocked any view from the lounge. This was not made clear when booking. Long, steep access up steps, that was hard with baggage Difficult to find the Apartment, and no directions given by the owner. Gas rings did not function properly

The apartment is reasonably well equipped, and the shower was powerful and hot. There was coffee and sugar which was appreciated. The walk to the centre of San Sebastian is only ten minutes, and fifteen minutes to the port.

The apartment has an old fashioned and dated feel to it. New sheets, bedding, and a general modernisation would help.
