Vivienda Vacacional Balcón de La Villa

Really lovely apartment, with a sunny terrace, well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The garage parking is very straightforward, with a lift to all floors. The pool isn't heated, so a bit chilly in March, but it sits in a sunny terrace with plenty of loungers. It's a 3 minute descent to the main square and a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants. It's also on the GR131 and GR132 and a good starting point for other hiking trails if you don't have a car. The owners are communicative and welcomed us warmly on arrival.

Began with friendly host who contacted us prior to arrival, enjoyed a fully functioning kitchen, comfy bed, new bathroom, tile floors, spacious parking in garage for our little Panda rental car, quiet evenings, balcony and bedroom with sweeping view of city, mountains, ocean, a walker’s delight.

Everything to like! Would suggest a bathroom fan, but that was minor.

Fantastic appartment and great location near to town

Nothing I did not like

The apartment was in a super position looking down on the beach and edge of the harbour in San Sebastian. We were met on the doorstep and were very helpfully introduced to the property and the apartment. It was a great base for exploring the island in a car and walking to local viewpoints. The apartment had everything that we needed. It was great to have access to the pool although only one of our group of four adults actually used it. It was very easy to communicate with the owners via WhatsApp. The internal car park was secure and suited us well. The lift was excellent for getting our suitcases to and from the apartment. The range of information about the island, especially the books about La Gomera were both beautiful and helpful.

The kettle was a bit small for the four of us and an additional couple of mugs would have been helpful. A mirror in the twin bedded room would have been an advantage.

The Hosts were so helpful, Tina tried to explain everything she could, the location was great as we were exploring the island with a car so having the indoor garage was a premium, the view was amazing and the apartment was a good size with great shower and cooking facilities, toaster, kettle, microwave and the added bonus of a washing machine stored next to the balcony. The pool looked inviting but we didn't get chance to swim, easy and quick to walk into the town and back for some nice meals. we had 2 keys, one included the auto garage door key which was so useful.really close to the ferry from tenerife. The apartment was well decorated and very quiet during day and night, we spent every afternoon enjoying the sun going down and watching all the boatlife.Great base to explore the island but had everything in the town, good supermarket in the market area for food shopping and a bakery that was very impressive, food was not expensive and we paid €2 for a glass of wine in the restaurants, thank you Tina and Miguel, if we come back we will stay here again

The beds were quite hard, but may suit other people, that was the only aspect that could be improved for us
