Chalet Insignis

I have to say that this was by far the best place I’ve stayed in for a ski holiday. Chalet Insignis, located in the heart of Santa Cristina, Val Gardena, is an amaizing place. To start with, it has a private parking place which is a great feature because you will probably get there by car if you have your own ski equipment. It is located right in the middle of the small village, next to many shops, lovely restaurants and places where you can rent or buy your skis for the holiday. Basically within a 5 minute walk it has everything you need. The best part about it is that it is just 3 minutes away from a ski lift that takes you up the mountain so you can leave your car parked at the hotel for the whole week if you only plan on skiing in Val Gardena. The owner of the place is so friendly and helpful. He helped us with everything we needed during our trip. Now getting to the main point, the chalet itself… Absolutely incredible place. It has everything you’d think of. The bedrooms are so spacious, the beds are very comfortable. You have a flat TV screen in both bedrooms. The appartment also has two bathrooms, a small but very well equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals if you don’t fancy going out in the village and a great living room with a big sofa and another flat TV screen. It also has a balcony with a great view. The owner has thought about everything in detail and the overall experience was top. The whole appartment is incredibly spacious and clean. Everything looks new and there’s a great mix of wood and modern stuff that fits perfectly for a ski holiday. The place also has a ski depot downstairs in the basement so you can’t really ask for more than that. What’s even crazier is that I only had this apparment to chose from at the time I made the reservation, but from what I’ve heard the other one’s do have jacuzzi in their rooms too so they are even better than the one we’ve stayed in. I have to say that I can not recommend this place enough.

Very modern interior, very clean, the location is vertically convenient, grocery store, bus stops and bakery all in one minute walk. The small kitchen equipped every thing we need, and excellent coffee machine.

A very well located, wonderfully furnished, comfortable apartment. With a fantastic view. The bus stop, the grocery store, the baker are 50 meters away. Well equiped kitchen. Private parking. Helpful staff. There was simply nothing wrong with the place

The bedding and pillows made me feel like I was floating on a cloud honestly, it was beyond comfortable. The apartment was roomy with large bedrooms/baths with wonderful shower, nice dining area and living room space. Really liked the kitchen. The location was perfect - steps away from the grocery store and not far from other towns while enjoying our stay. The apartment offered beautiful views of the mountain and town scenery from the balcony. The hosts were very nice and had some goodies for us to enjoy during our stay. Everything was wonderful! Even the hand lotion… I could go on and on.

Marco the owner met us upon arrival so we could store our bags until 3pm when Elena was there to check us in. We had 2 couples per taxi and the taxi's arrived about 1/2 hour apart so Marco was able to meet both of us when we arrived.
