The positive thing was the good water filter in the room. No need to buy plastic bottels and good drinking water always on hand. The main thing for me with any stay is the human interaction, and the owner of this place is probably one of the rudest and most arrogant man I ever met in India.

The worst thing was the arrogance of the host. I booked a double room and when I arrived, the air in that room was so bad, that I asked for another room. I was given a better room, though later on was told that I had to pay extra. This is the first time in 46 years of coming to India that I had to pay for a room upgrade, and this one was not my choice, since the room i was given was uninhabitable. When I challenged the host about it, he said with a smirk "I don't care, i have a very high rating on booking". The AC in the room sounded like a tractor and the fan over the bed didn't work properly,. The street is very noisy , so even the open windows version is poor. So basically, in the pre monsoon heat it was impossible to sleep. The neighbourhood is dirty and unappealing . The room is on the third floor in a decrepit old building with a semi functioning lift.. The breakfast is another thing. I was offered one choice . Puri baji ( a deep fried Indian bread with a spicy dip). When i said that I don't want to eat this fried food, I was given 2 sliced of papaya and a slice of pre buttered stale bread. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to stay.

Accommodation was basic, clean & comfortable. The location is excellent as it is walking distance from park street.

TV & AC could be better

it is in heart of park street ,easily accessible to all nearby places. Host was good we liked the amenities .

location was little inside in rippon street ,initially we were worried about location later it was all safe and satisfied.

Very nice location, close to the Park Street and Ripon Street with many restaurants Host family are all very kind and friendly, very comfortable

Air conditioner is a bit noisy, but still ok

The room was very spacious and easily fitted all three of us comfortably. Prime location just off Park Street made everything convenient. The service was very, very polite and attentive. The kitchen was well stocked, and both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
