Amalfitani House

A spacious clean nicely furnished apartment in a great central location. All main sites and many bars and restaurants were within a 5 to 10 min walk. And only a 20min walk from Palermo central train station and a 30min walk to the ferry terminal. We were able to store our bags while the apartment was being cleaned and offered an early check in after that, which was much appreciated. Great communication and photos to help us find the accommodation. We would definitely stay again in this well equipped apartment.

Nothing really but some may find the stairs up to the apartment and the stairs to the loft bedroom a bit difficult. And while the bathroom overall was new and fresh the shower cubicle could do with improvement.

It' s a well equipped flat, arranged comfortably and with attention to every detail. A beautiful, modern bathroom and essential kitchen. The flat gives the feeling of safety as the building is located in a closed courtyard, what also makes it quiet. Moreover, the location is in the the heart of the Old Town, with easy access to the Railway and Bus Station (15min walk).

The house was clean and the location was very good for walking in the city.

The apartment is nestled in between several ther buildings and can be a little difficult to find. Once there, it was easy.

The space was so much better than a hotel room.

It was hard to find initially. I also did not feel very safe walking back to thr apartment as a solo woman after dinner. For these reasons I would nor stay again.

The location was great. It was in a lovely, quiet square but close to restaurants and bars. The apartment was really well equipped and furnished. Plenty of sockets for charging phones,etc. Everything worked well. It was easy to leave early in the morning by just leaving the keys behind. The host left water for us free of charge.

We received instructions on how to access the apartment only a few hours before arrival which meant we had to scramble together copies of our passports to send to the host whilst travelling. Finding the apartment was confusing. There was no sign to confirm that Almafitani House apartment was in the building. The instructions to get to the apartment from the main door could have been clearer as it just stated to ascend the stairs - there were 2 sets of stairs. It would have been nice to see our host on arrival to help getting around these issues.
