WORST HOST EVER. RUN AWAY. Absolutely terrible experience. We arrived at the apartment only to find the heater completely off. I immediately contacted the host, but instead of providing a simple solution, he refused to explain how to turn it on. Frustrated, I pushed for answers, and his response was shockingly aggressive. Then, at 1 AM, he decided to show up at the apartment, and let himself in! Instead of offering any help, he confronted me aggressively over how I had spoken to him. Feeling completely unsafe, I went to the police the next day. This was beyond unacceptable—do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place.

Great value for money, good location and spacious living room with kitchen. Fantastic view and close to super market and restaurants.

The kettle is not functioning well. But we manually fix the problem.

The location was phenomenal. Great views from the terrace. Close to the train station and also the Colico ferry stop.

The apartment has a small hot water heater and will run out after 1 shower.

Worst living experience This is the first time I live in such a house. There is no hot water, no wifi, no basic services, no products for cleaning the body and hair, and not enough hot water for bathing! The electric kettle and electric stove are just for show and don't work. In Canada, I saw that it was 199 Canadian dollars a night, because my budget is within 200 Canadian dollars. However, you charged 619 Canadian dollars. It's not worth it! When I return to Canada, I will complain, and if the overcharge cannot be refunded. No any service,no basic service. No shampoo in the bathroom and the shower door is not functioning and poses risks on guests. Don’t be cheated by the view outside. Water heater does not working and cook top does not work either. Forget about thus property if you don’t want to ruin your travel.

Great location. Although it is one the central place, after 23 (ca) it is quiet (for Italy) and we slept well. Parking is ok not directly on spot but possible nearby. Market on fridays nearby. Bakery next street. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. 100m to ferry stop! Communication with Giovanni was excellent! The private balcony is a prime spot to observe plaza live from above 24h/day and meanwhile sip your favorite drink.

The shower might need minor repair. A minor thing that we missed: Bring hand wash and extra toilet paper with you.

We loved being further away from the busy towns.the view from the balcony was amazing. The apartment has plenty of space. A good kitchen. There is supermarkets close by and plenty of restaurants.

We loved the location of Bella Piazza, so close to the train station we were able to walk. The apartment is right on the lake; the view was fantastic. We were very close to the Sentiero Valtellina and so enjoyed a hike along the upper Lake Como and the Adda River. Being so close to restaurants and shops was enjoyable, too--no need for a car.

The VIEW!!!! This place was so great! Immaculate, spacious, with updated kitchen and bath, and elevator access!. Very comfy bed (by US standard--soft is comfortable). Unobstructed direct view from all three windows onto lake Como as well as the Piazza below. Small balcony with two chairs to take in the view even better. We were there in late February, so very few people around and the weather was mixed of course, but we still had a great time. Short 20 min train ride down to Varenna to catch the ferry to Bellagio. Friendly local repair shop for my busted tire. Little trouble connecting to WiFi but it worked great once we got it figured out Staff very responsive, if not very familiar with the area itself. Kitchen was well equipped with dish and cookware, and even stocked with olive oil, seasonings, and coffee fixings. Large fridge/freezer.

Could have used some instructions on recycling sorting. Took me forever to find it online as it varies so much among regions. Finally found on Colico city website.
