Varenna Hill apt

Well equipped, comfortable and amazing views.

Bit of a hike if walking, but fine if you have a car. There is a free bus service also.

Beautiful views over Vareena from property. Excellent balcony to sit and enjoy the views. Excellent communication from Marco, who provides pick up on arrival. An easy 15-20 minute walk downhill to get into Vareena but well worth it for the views. A free shuttle provided to return to property in evening fro 7pm.

The host, Marco, was very friendly and fully available to provide recommendations on the area. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Even though a bit away from the center of Varenna, the lake views are very nice.

The view was exceptional. And the view from a pool? Unparalleled. The place it located up the hill some ways from the train station but Marco had a taxi waiting there for us (thank you!). The bottle of Prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch as well. The place was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. You have everything needed to anjou your stay and feel like you live in Perledo.

Location had amazing views and condition of the property was A+. Everything looked new. Marco was very communicative and helpful, even picking us up at the train station and checking in on us several times and offering restaurant and taxi information. Quiet and relaxing home, very clean, nice balcony and a pool. Very special property.

Property was about 20 minute walk into town. The street is narrow and winding with a minimal shoulder, or there is a rough cobblestone path. There is parking available, but if you don't have a car you'll need to walk or use taxis for getting to town and back. There is a free night bus from 21:00 to midnight that leaves from the train station and stops right below the apartment.

The property had the most amazing view over lake como. The owner marco met us at the station and brought us to the property. It had a lovely pool which because of weather, I didn't get to use. Facilities in the property, cleanliness etc were superb. I can't really fault this place.

Unfortunately the weather was very poor on the night we stayed there. Only other thing was that it was a very steep walk from varenna to the apartment. Would have been OK in good weather but we were on foot. You would need to have a mode of transport.

Very comfy apartment with an absolutely beautiful view at a quiet and calm location. It has all the essentials and is quite modern and very clean. The host was very nice and even picked us up from the train station, so we didn’t have to walk all the way up with our luggage.

It is a moderately steep walk up the hill, around 20-30 minutes.
