The Lodge

This little apartment is amazing and the hosts were fantastic! It is not part of the Hotel, but it is located within the building. The apartment is comfortable and beautiful and has a stunning view, especially in the evening when all the lights are on in Ravello and surrounding areas. We were able to use the beautiful pool also. We came by car and there was parking at the hotel car park. Scala is such a quaint little village. The drive here, like anywhere at the Amalfi coast, is very very windy but it is worth it. We would love to come back here one day.

There are quite a few stairs to climb to get to the apartment. There is a lift, but it only partially gets you there. Keep your luggage light when coming here. The hosts were very helpful and gave us a hand with the luggage both when checking in and when checking out.

It was an amazing location but be aware the hotel might have extra guests or evening events. Very nice and calm, not a lot of tourists during our stay in May and easy access to the pool, breakfast and excellent dinners. Very touristy places like Ravello and Amalfi. There were extra pool towels. The host had many great suggestions for what we had planned during our stay.

Although the town of Scala is in walking distance the grocery store was very small.

The owners were simply amazing! The location too! The lodge was so good that we could stay there for months. The rooms were super clean, it has a great view!

Overall it was great, the only thing that i would improve would be the ventilation in the bathrooms!

Perfect location with amazing view over Ravello! It's so nice that when you visiting a super crowded Amalfi or Positano to come "home" in a quiet and peaceful Scala to have a good rest and sleep. The apartment is clean, well decorated, good beds and got everything you need, even more than that! We loved the fact that you could choose to use the facilities of the Hotel Villa Giuseppina like the pool and breakfast for a relatively small amount of money. Also their restaurant has a nice menu for lunch or dinner. Shops and good restaurants on walking distance, free parking, good wifi and the whole apartment is just very well equipped. Staff of the hotel and host Lorenzo are super friendly and helpfully. (good English) We felt really welcome together with our two Italian Greyhounds. We just had a great vacation, could not wish for more!!

Great location and view.

the deposit was a bit surprising for our stay, when we were booking the accommodation it did not show up, and then before accommodating, they mentioned the deposit to be paid. It was a pretty cold apartment, we had to turn the AC in, but, the remote control was not working.

Unique location near Scala/Ravello/Amalfi. Bang for buck, very good value! Amazing view on the mountains and coast. Magical atmosphere.

The bathroom in one bedroom smelled bad and mouldy, the bathroom was very damp. Probably because of some water leak from inside the mountain. We told the owners, they immediately send somebody to get rid of the smell but the cause is probably deeper. You need to pay for all extra's (swimming pool etc.) in nearby hotel.
