Location in heart of East Palermo very close to key streets in the city centre and walking distance from Teatro Massimo. Clean and neat apartment with good communication from the host Francesco. Beds for us and our two kids. Nearest supermarkets and bakery are about 5-10 minutes walk away. Wifi was very good. Hot water in the shower although you need to wait if more than two people are using it in quick succession as the hot water runs out! Host helped to find us a free parking spot nearby (very useful as there are lots of issues with parking fines in big cities in Sicily) and was very helpful with recommendations. The most important thing to know if you have a car is that it’s a ZTL area so you need to get a permit. It would be helpful if you are coming late at night to ask the host to procure one for you as you need to fill it in by a particular time at night and it helps to have an Italian sim card for it to recognise the entry. It only costs 5 Euros per day and is available at the tabbachi in Teatro Massimo. Apparently, you only need it if you are moving around in the car and not if it stays parked. In the end our host helped with processing this online as it was not straightforward from our phone. Also, be aware that you will need to pay local tourist taxes as mentioned in the booking. Nothing. It was all good. Need to be aware that you are in the heart of town so it can be a bit noisy in the night but not too bad.

Great location could walk to all the main tourist sites and right beside a number of nice restaurants.. The area felt safe and apartment secure. Apartment was well maintain and clean throughout.

Apartment was very clean and comfortable for 4 people. The location was very close to historic center and markets. It was helpful to have a key box because we were 2 couples traveling together. The host, Francesco, was friendly and easy to communicate with!
