The flat was well positioned for sightseeing on foot but also by bus or car (secure parking but quite tight so don't book too big a car). It was easy to walk into the old town (about 20 minutes). Felt safe area returning after being out for a meal in the evening plus access to less expensive restaurants than the very busy ones in the old town. (Il Matteo was our favourite). The flat was even more spacious than the photos suggested and the beds were very comfortable. Teen son loved having a TV in his room. Really good internet speed. It was cool even on hot days. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We were arriving on Easter Sunday when all the shops are shut and they kindly got us some basic supplies in and surprised us with Easter eggs. Decent supermarket nearby for snacks, drinks & self catering.

Would've liked a full length mirror. Teen daughter likes to check her outfit. The kitchen is a bit awkward re space for preparing a meal but generally fine and well equipped. Could do with a dish rack for when just washing a couple of items by hand rather than needing to use the dishwasher. Has balconies to be able to sit out but not picturesque but we were generally out and about rather than chilling in the flat so not an issue for us.

The appartment was very spacious and modern. The hosts were super kind and we got to appreciate their hospitality.

Tight but very convenient, safe parking space is worth gold in Siracusa. The apartment was impeccably clean. Spacious and well planned out. Angelo and Egle are extremely attentive, helpful and speak great English.

Heating takes time to set up but you only need it for few cold nights in January. Still works well.
