The location was surrounded by trees and daily visits by the owners goats, was a treat, Luca was very friendly, offering any assistance, such as driving my car (up and down) the very narrow laneway to the property. A range of great hikes and a bike hire shop are easily accessible from Brunate, so lots of adventure is at your fingertips.

The property photos and filters how a pool and a washing machine, yet there are 2 accommodation options on this property, and the smaller cabin, does not have access to these. The property gate is a 1km up-hill walk from the Funicular, yet the very narrow road was adequately lit up at night.

Looking for a quite and private accommodation close to lake Como you can hardly find anything better. The house in in the middle of a private forest, but well equipped and very comfortable. Host Luka was great, meeting us with a car, helping with parking and our luggage, and showing everything we needed. Brunate is a fantastic location to both experience biking routes during the day and relaxing vibes of Como during the evenings.

Keep in mind, that Brunate is a very hilly town, with very narrow streets, so both walking and driving with something larger than Fiat 500 could be a problem. Best option is e-bike) To access the house one need to walk through the forest. Not a problem for us, but also keep in mind. Espresso/moka machine is too small for 2, but luckily we had our own)

very peaceful and quiet location

Very nicely build solid cabin in the woods. Facilities were great as well. Clean room and very cozy bed & pillows. We also loved the goats! Very welcoming and helpful owner! Thanks a lot for giving us a hand with the luggage. We‘ll definitely be back to have another quiet and relaxed stay.

It was our own fault as the owner told us before that it‘s better to come up with a small car. Definitely will take that advise the next time. Roads up to the property are very very narrow. Please keep it in mind.
