"StageROOM01 is always a delightful experience that exceeds expectations."

The property is located just 300 meters from Palombaro Lungo and within walking distance of iconic attractions like the MUSMA Museum and Casa Grotta nei Sassi, so in an excellent position for guests to explore on foot.

Just a little thing...an extension cable would be perfect as our laptops do not reach the plugs to charge; we bring our own now as we have visited often.

"Amazing Room in Matera"

The communication with the owner was spectacular from the time we booked. They sent to us a complete package with all the information we needed from the moment we arrived in Matera until we checked out. The room is absolutely perfect, very clean and comfortable.

"Beautiful & Elegance Room"

It was more than my expectation. The room was very beautiful and elegance. All of my family members really loved the stay. It is also easy to find because there is a very famous place (San Pietro Barisano church) right above the stay. Also there is stunning view out of the front door-you don't need to wander the town to take a photo. The view point is one step out of the door. If I visit the Sassi again, I'll stay Stage Room01 again.

"Jaw droppingly gorgeous"

I think this might be my favourite place I’ve ever stayed. It’s even more gorgeous in real life, and only for Matera being the most enchanting city, we wouldn’t have wanted to leave. From the stunning furniture to the luxurious bedding and toiletries, all our expectations were exceeded and we will forever remember this space 🖤

Wow! This place was such a great spot! By far the most unique and amazing accommodation I have ever stayed in. The interior design was really cool, the bed and pillows were super comfy - not too soft, not too hard. The location was perfect. I would absolutely love to come back.

I couldn’t fault this property, it has been a standout of our whole holiday.
