Das Appartement war großzügig, sauber und originell. Im Wohnzimmer gab es eine gemütliche Couchecke. Küche voll eingerichtet. Das Appartement liegt in der pituresken historischen Altstadt am Hang und ist nur fußläufig 50 - 100 m) zu erreichen, Historisch bedeutet, dass auch das Haus ein historischer Altbau ist, mit entsprechenden Treppen und teils Türstöcken muss man also rechnen. Sorano ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um das Umland zu erforschen (Pitigliano, Saturnia usw.) Kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es am Ort, sinnvoll ist es aber, alles von unterwegs mitzubringen.

Es roch zunächst noch etwas muffig, war wohl vorher einige Zeit nicht bewohnt (Anfang März). Es dauerte auch einen Tag, bis alles warmgeheizt war, später im Jahr sicherlich kein Problem mehr.
