It was a huge apartment centrally located adjacent to the historic San Pellegrino quarter and the city. The host was welcoming and helpful. She showed us around the apartment and gave us a great suggestion for the nearby Il Monastero Pizzeria - that served the largest individual pizzas we had ever seen.

Great hospitality

Location is absolutely perfect, and the apartment is an experience in itself. The building mirrors the medieval setting that is the historic centre, and one can enjoy the grandeur of the apartment and feel a part of the history. What we really liked - the location, the comfortable bed with a range of bedding. (We occasionally had some unseasonable weather, and we were certainly cosy in the bedroom.) The terrace is perfect for enjoying the sun with a cuppa between breakfast teatime, and the kitchen and bathroom had plenty of hot water. Kitchen and dining room are very spacious and well equipped The apartment has an elegant simplicity that helps you relax in its grandeur. We had a wonderful eleven nights in this superb apartment in this fascinating little city.

The place is really unique, it is historical palce with huge vedtooms.The owner Elena is really kind and hwlpful.Beds are really great, thete is a huge terrace, the locatiob is really nice, internet works perfectly

There is one thng that is not related to apattment but on weekends there is noise until.late because there are many restaurants arround househ

Vi har rejst mange steder på mange kontinenter, men vi har meget sjældent følt os så forkælet som i dennelejlighed, som i kraft af sin enorme størrelse og skønhed overgår det meste. Samtidig er byen er fantastisk. Hiking mulighederne er fantastiske. Byen er stor nok til, at der er mange fantastiske restauraner at vælge i mellem og smukke kvarterer. Hvis du flyver til Rom, kan jeg kun anbefale at tage til Viterbo og bo netop i Pietrolafontaine19.

Ingenting - men vær klar over, at udenfor sommersæsonen kan rummene være lidt kolde. Det er et stort, gammelt hus med tykke mure, og solen tager tid om at varme bygningen op.

Enormous, tastefully decorated apartment in a historic building. Big sunny terrace, unusable due to cold. Quiet neighborhood, at least in early March. Elena is a conscientious & caring host. She helped us with our bags, gave us a map & restaurant recommendations & called a taxi for us on checkout.

It was so cold inside that I had to wear a hoodie & gloves to bed—under 2 thick duvets & a wool blanket! We didn’t dare take showers. The radiators were on just a few hours a day & barely alleviated the chill. On check-in Elena had lit a fire in the kitchen fireplace, but told us there’s no way to control the central heat. So we assumed—perhaps wrongly—that there was no point telling her about the problem till we checked out. She was mortified & apologized profusely.

Lovely views from huge windows. This feels like my family home. We were very comfortable.
