Attenzione Non aspettatevi un palazzo signorile e curato…l’indirizzo indicato su Booking è una via vicina non corretta, la casa si trova in via Santa Domenica 37 e fatalità corrisponde ad un palazzone fatiscente e popolare di Tropea. Altra cosa negativa che però non dipende direttamente dalla gestione della struttura, in strada era pieno di rifiuti buttati a terra a causa del porta a porta mal gestito dal comune con odore e ratti…

The apartment was clean, exactly as shown in the pictures, well-equipped, and had a nice, spacious balcony

Imagine paying nearly €100 per night, staying for four nights, and being given just one roll of toilet paper. When I asked for more, the response was that the initial roll was merely a courtesy and that the hosts are not obliged to provide any at all. Eventually, they gave us one more, even though the Booking.com listing clearly states that toilet paper is included as part of the amenities. As for shower gel – there were only two small sachets. I honestly don’t understand why a guest staying several days is treated the same as someone staying for just one night. In fact, longer stays should be easier for hosts, as there’s no need to clean after just a single night – yet even the most basic supplies are limited. Another point of concern: the address listed on Booking.com does not match the real location of the apartment. While it's only about 50–100 meters away, this is still misleading – especially for guests who check the neighborhood in advance on Google Street View. In this case, the actual surroundings look noticeably less appealing. When the host asked if everything was okay with the apartment, I politely mentioned that the street name was different. After that, her attitude became noticeably less friendly. Looking at some of the responses to previous negative reviews, I sincerely hope no story will be made up about us being problematic guests – because from our side, everything went smoothly, both during the stay and upon check-out.

The apartment is in a great location and the terrace was beautiful. The owner is very nice :)

We couldn't turn on the air conditioning, but maybe that was our mistake :)

The host and her sister were so helpful and went the extra mile with their service. The clean, top floor apartment is small but has everything you need. The bonus for us was the large balcony and the lovely sea view and of Stromboli. Location is an easy 5 minute walk to the old town and a bit longer to the beach. There is a fresh food market nearby and train station to airport is an easy 10 minute walk.

The walls are not soundproof and next door neighbours are noisy. A small detail but actual furniture such as the bed are different than in the advertised photos.
