The bathroom wasn’t flowing well, mosquito bite,how can a host be asking me not to use the towers very annoying host

Almost all sightseeing places are in 5min on foot, a supermarket is in 30 seconds, the flat/ kitchen/bathroom are all for your private use, you can cook and do laundry too, You will get to know about your keys when you arrive, Quiet neighborhood,

The internet didn't work so well for wifi/mobile data. (It sometimes happened too when I was walking around Vicenza. So I recommend to download an offline map.)

This one bedroom apartment is right in the centre of the old town, so is close to main cafes and attractions in an easy walking car free zone. A good small to medium size Eurospar supermarket is easy walking distance of 500-600m away. The train station is a convenient 10-15 minute walk on flat well paved surface. As the apartment is located just off the main street and activity areas, we were surprised how quiet it was in the evenings - excellent location. Host provided a food larder of basic breakfast items and other condiments. Really pleased with being able to access apartment several hours before official 16:00 check-in time; thank you. Although in a traffic free area, the taxi from the train station was able to drop us at the door. Lovely small historical city well worth a visit and enjoyed our 3 day stay.

Although the apartment was basically clean, it was not to our expected standard, many kitchen dishes and utensils had food remnants on them and hidden areas a bit untidy, requiring us to redo clean-up. Pictures of apartment are a little fresher than reality and no dishwasher as advertised (which did not affect us). The bathroom towels were extremely small, not much bigger than the hand towels supplied in other apartments that we had stayed. No dish drying towels.

Location and comfortable bed

We booked this accommodation because it offered two separate beds (queen bed and a sofa bed). Immediately after checking-in I find the sofa bed locked and the host claims that only the queen bed is available for two people, which was clearly not what we had booked (see pictures). The support staff at Booking.com was of no help to get the host to fix the situation, nor did they bother to help us get at least a partial refund for the false advertisement. The host is awful at communicating; slow replies and completely ignored my request to unlock it the same day and I ended up sleeping on a tiny and uncomfortable sofa without a'y bed sheets the first night. The apartment was only moderately clean, dishes and cutlery were old and sometimes dirty, and the bathroom towels and robes were very old and need replacement (see pictures again). All in all this whole situation ruined our stay in Vicenza and makes us question whether Booking.com really protects the guests' rights at all.

The location is perfect to visit the main historical sites. Comfortable beds Luogo perfetto. In centro e di fronte ad un piccolo supermercato. Letti comodi.

Crockery and cutlery for cooking and eating were less then needed. Le stoviglie erano meno di quanto necessario.
