TaoApartments - Casa Stromboli

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Lorenzo met us with the keys and was very helpful in orienting us to the area. He provided several recommendations of places to eat and was very responsive to our questions. We had great access to the beach, several restaurants, and the scuba diving center. The funicular to go up to Taormina was within walking distance.

There are many, many steps to get down to the apartment which was a struggle for us with our luggage. There isn't a couch in the living room - which we were aware of from the photos - so we mostly sat at the kitchen table. However, there's so much to do that we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment.

Great little place more than happy would love to return again

I would rate it 10 of 10 but we also had Casa Salina from Tao apartments and it was also excellent apartment but much lighter with view on top. So if that was 10/10 this must be 9/10

The location right on the beach was fantastic and the apartment itself was great. Very convenient having direct access to the beach as well as the cable car being located above the stairs. Our host communicated very well and was there before we were there ready to give us the keys and very reliable throughout our stay there.

We arrived by bus to the main terminal and if it weren't for the taxi driver we wouldn't have known that we had to walk all the way down the stairs. Which was not an issue for us we just did not think we were dropped off at the right location. The only thing as a guest we would of liked were to have extra towels, it was great having the washer there but going from the beach to the room we did not pack our own towel so would of been helpful to just have an extra set on hand.
