Excellent location in Varenna, on the same square as the well rated Al Prato restaurant. Had some lake view from the main room window. Can’t fault the communications from Varenna Holidays who manage the apt (if anything there could have been too much communication :D)

Noise - for me, the neighbour noises were intrusive - I could hear upstairs walking around, running water, using the bathroom etc. This isn’t relaxing for me. Also the bed and sofa were extremely uncomfortable (the sofa converted to a bed which is nice but was very hard and unusable to sit on). This also isn’t relaxing for me.

No wardrobe available, internet was poor and the difference between check-in (after 16:00) and check-out (before 10:00) was too much in my opinion with no possibility to leave the luggages at the property after check-out.

The apartment I has been renovated to a high standard with views of the lake and is well equipped. The building had a small lift which helped. Apartment is close to everything in the small town.

We had large suitcases which were hard to manage in getting from the ferry to the apartment. Even if you got a taxi you still have manage some stairs with your bags. Recommend to get a taxi which I am sure that Varenna Holidays could book in advance.

Unbelievable location and the views out of the room were breathtaking. The hotel has great access to the water and the main parts of the city.

There was no air conditioning so the room was incredibly hot for our entire stay. The shower also needs to be repaired and was pretty hard to use. Need a few more towels in the room if you are going to be staying more than 3 days.

We couldn’t really find breakfast. But all the restaurants were excellent we were always happy to sit by the water!

We each only had one towel for the week. We messaged via WhatsApp and never heard back. We also ran out of toilet paper.
