Casa Letizia Amalfi Coast

Die Lage und das Flair direkt am Hauptplatz von Atrani, die Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Küche war alles da, was wir brauchten, auch die Waschmaschine haben wir genutzt.

Als kleine Anregung vielleicht… eine Zitronenpresse wäre hilfreich gewesen… im Land der Zitronen 🍋

Laura is an exceptional host and a very kind person. We felt really at home in the apartment.

It was a bit noisy at night

La ubicación ha estado excelente, con acceso directo desde la pequeña plaza central de atrani, hay que subir unas cuantas escaleras para ingresar pero son pocas sobre todo comparadas con otros lugares en la Costa Amalfitana. La atención de Laura fue excelente, nos brindó toda la ayuda que necesitamos. La habitacion cuenta con cosas basicas como cafe, azucar, aceite para cocinar, etc. lo cual se agradece muchísimo! Sin duda me volvería a hospedar aquí.

La puerta del baño no cerraba.

Atrani is a great location away from the crush of Amalfi. This apartment looking out over the Piazza is a gem A few steps from a coffee plus a range of cafes bars a restaurants. Laura the hostess is very professional and available if needed. If this little gem pops up as a booking option grab it.

Located in the town square absolutely great location. Great base to explore nearby town if Amalfi which was connected by a pedestrian tunnel. Be aware that given nature of region, there are many stairs to navigate!

The beds were uncomfortable and the apartment especially the kitchen area was dark.

Laura ist eine warmherzige & ganz ganz liebe Gastgeberin! Das Apartment ist sehr schön & stilvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort zuhause & kann dank der Küche auch mal selbst was kochen. Direkt am kleinen Dorfplatz mit Mini Supermarkt & Obst/Gemüseladen gelegen bietet es außerdem eine schöne & angenehme Atmosphäre. Wer Spaghetti alle Vongole liebt sollte die in der Pizzeria il Birecto probieren (alle anderen Gerichte auch lecker)! Da die Amalfiküste auch Mitte Oktober noch extrem voll war von Besucher*innen haben wir Atrani als entspannt empfunden & sind sehr froh, keine Unterkunft in Amalfi mitten im Geschehen gebucht zu haben (Amalfi ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen). Als Verkehrsmittel für Tagesausflüge empfehlen wir eines der vielen Boote, die Amalfi/Atrani/Positano ansteuern. Zwar teurer als der Bus, aber sehr viel angenehmer!

Good sized bedroom with comfortable bed; however, this is irrelevant given it is a health hazard per below.

Significant amount of paint falling off the ceiling, which continuously fell on the dining table (in our food), loft bedroom and lounge area, including paint dust particles that would hang in the air. See photos. The paint falling contained numerous layers of paint - given this is an old building, we had concerns the older layers may contain lead. Either way, lead or no lead, paint in your food and in the air is not a safe environment. We had initially booked for 10 nights, but were compelled to leave after two nights. Upon departure we immediately contacted Booking.com and the host clearly detailing the issue (in writing). We requested a refund for the 8 nights we did not stay there. The host responded to our message and noted she would respond to Booking.com’s refund request email. Over the following week Booking.com called and emailed the host chasing compensation/refund request emails, which she did not respond to. We also chased the host; however, she claimed she didn’t get any emails and did not understand why we had left. We find it very hard to believe she did not receive Booking.com's emails - she certainly knew what the problem was given she responded to our message which outlined the safety issue in detail. On day 8, after Booking.com called the host again, she then messaged us noting she would would have refunded us the remaining nights had we cancelled the booking, so she could rent it out. What a joke!? At no point had the host confirmed she would refund us if we cancelled, and in addition she obviously had no intention of fixing the ceiling if she intended to rent it out immediately. We were dismayed by the host’s lack of concern for the safety of her guests, particularly when we have a toddler. To date, no refund has been received. How can you decline to refund a guest, when your property is uninhabitable?!

Love the location and the feel of the apartment. Atrani is gorgeous!

Look it could be a little noisy at times but it didn’t bother us because we wanted to feel the atmosphere and you’re certainly going to do that when you stay here… a couple of stairs and you’re in the square, with restaurants and coffee shops and everything you need right there.
