Location was great. Large, very comfortable home for six days. Host was super responsive and there was everything that you needed there.

It was a perfect apartment for our stay and the location was excellent! The property managers were the best and always available to assist!

The apartment is tucked away in a prime location behind the main shopping street, just a few minutes away from the piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Everything is within walking distance, including the train station, outside the city walls. We loved how spacious the apartment was, with its big bedrooms and separate living room, and loved the homely feel of the place. There's a very well equipped kitchen too, with dishwasher and washing machine. The kids were very pleased with the WiFi connection! We were able to keep our bags in the apartment after check out time also which was a big help. We had a really lovely and relaxed stay here.

It could be difficult returning at night as the light was not working at the top of the short flight of steps from the street to the front door, so you had to use a torch. The outside light was fixed on our last night, but the light in the hallway to the inside door could do with fixing too.

The apartment is specious and airy. the two bedrooms and living room have French (Italian) doors that open onto a small square. I have stayed in Lucca many times and this is probably the quietest if not the largest. The kitchen is old fashion in appearance, but sports a microwave and really fast oven. The beds are comfortable. The shower is comfortably large the hot water fast and stays at desired level.

I live in an old house so I know the limitations that imposes. If It could be done, the kitchen would be better with more light. we brought in a lamp and that handled it. The toilet is amazingly close to the wall but that’s the charm. If you are not sure on your feet, you should know there are 17 steps up to the entrance and within the property there are two levels, a step of some three inches.

Great location, lovely apartment with lots of space and properly equipped kitchen. Very clean and tidy but homely.
