I did not eat breakfast. The location to the monastery is wonderful.

The house is big, lots of space, nice garden but need to be improve. The host phoned to a restaurant and ask to wait for us once was too late and they were almost closing.

When we came , 1 of the side beds/sofa was undo, looks that the host nephew slept there , so didn't givevus a clean feeling! The house in general needed a clean and smell to cigarette 🚬 😒 We understand the host tried to be friendly but too much talking and talking when we arrived late and wanted to rest. The door from the house doesn't lock we had to put a chair to stick the door. Really need a clean, a painting, new towels and a better cleaning.

The apartment is situated in the old town of pictursque Tuscania only a short walk away from the famous panorama points. It is situated in a back yard with a romantic garden thus mostly isolating you from the street noises. Tuscania is a great starting point to explore the whole area. I want to recommend explicitely to visit Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Tarquinia, the legendary etruscian necropolis of Cerveteri, the church of Ceri, Viterbo, Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana. We also liked the archeological parc of Sutri and the medieval villages Vitorchiano, Calcata Vecchia and Faleria. The owner, Stefano, is very nice and friendly. He is always eager for a chat and having an Italian coffee together with his guests.

Best suited for romantics, not so much for families. The apartment, contrary to the statement at booking.com, has no own washing machine. You always have to ask the owner to do the washing for you. Don´t go there with a car bigger than a Seat Alhambra as the roads leading there are medieval and narrow.

Our host, Stefan, looked after us perfectly: He explained how to enjoy his flat, how to keep the fire going, how to use the wifi. He even taxied us from Viterbo when our train arrived late. He gave us fresh eggs and his kitchen has everything one needs to eat well.

All was good.
