Maison Limone

Our host Vittorio met us in person and gave us the full tour of the property. He was wonderful, full of recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The place was stocked with some essentials and even some non-essentials like Coke, beer and wine. It was clean and very central to the city while still being quiet and picturesque.

Not a complaint but my only suggestions would be to add a brief explanation of how to use the clothes dryer. As an American, I was not familiar with the condenser dryer and the need to empty the water tank. However I figured it out and it was incredibly helpful to have.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful. It was exceptionally clean, modern yet cozy, and very well organized with great attention to detail. We loved the comfortable beds, clean towels, beautiful balcony views, and thoughtful amenities, including the international phone chargers that made traveling much easier. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore Sorrento. A special thank you to Vittorio, who was phenomenal from start to finish. He was always available through WhatsApp, calls, and messages whenever we needed help, directions, or recommendations. He even met us halfway from the train station and helped carry the luggage for my mother and aunt, who are both 70 years old. That level of care, professionalism, and kindness meant so much to our family. He is truly one of the best hosts we have ever had.

Nothing at all. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We had a lovely stay in this very comfortable apartment with good views in both directions. It is close to shops, restaurants and the train station and surprisingly very quiet despite proximity to streets. The Ferry is most likely best reached by taxi if you have luggage but it is an easy 20 minute walk for day trips. We took the ferry from Naples to arrive, and did day trips by ferry to Capri and Positano. There’s also an easy day trip via train to Pompeii which was quite lovely. There is welcome Heat and AC throughout. The Kitchen is very well stocked - dishes, pots, spatula, cheese grater, glasses, bowls, and a nespresso. They provide an assortment of amenities like razors, soaps, and shampoo in the shower. We also appreciated the lovely treats to greet us: Prosecco, beverages, coffee pods, pasta, and tomato sauce. It was nice to have local guidebooks for reference and planning. There are a few sliding doors to block noise which was great as some people Sleep late or early. The separate laundry and dryer machines were great as we were midway through a 2 week vacation.

We have a few recommendations to make the place even better: More furniture for living room, more blankets, and maybe chairs and a little table to appreciate the balcony.

It was a really nice place and was even better than advertised since the owners did a couple positive renovations since our reservation was placed. The location is a block off of the main street which meant that it was nice and quiet at night but still very easy to walk to. Vittorio was an amazing host. He went way above and beyond to make sure everything went well for us, including a lot of recommendations for where to eat, parking arrangements, some great recommendations about how to best get to our tour of Pompeii, recommendations on other tours, and even helped me to understand some of the details about what to expect at the toll roads when driving between Rome and Sorrento. He is genuinely a nice guy and made a positive impact to our vacation.

It was a little hard to find the exact location from Apple Maps, but we got very close and then Vittorio helped us the rest of the way. It may be helpful for future guests to have a picture of the outside prior to their arrival.

Spacious and modern,exactly to our taste. Spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk down to the train and bus station or into the old town with its restaurants and shops. The owners were so helpful throughout our stay, recommending and booking restaurants and also stepping in at the last minute to arrange a tour of the Amalfi coast when our original booking fell through!

There was nothing that we did not like! It would be useful, however, to have a mirror in the bedrooms to style hair/do makeup.

This was one of the most expensive properties we stayed on our one month trip and really wasn’t worth the cost paid. Main bathroom shower needed cleaning of shower hose as was mouldy.

Beautiful apartment. Hosts Vittorio and Stefania were excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Just a short walk to piazza Tasso. Sipping cappuccino from the breakfast table with a view of Mount Vesuvius really can't be beat. If we are so lucky to visit Sorrento again, I will absolutely look to book Maison Limone again.
