Great location in the centre of Bari. Lovely courtyard to sit in. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great character building Nice hosts provided recommendations for restaurants.

Very small room, tiny bathroom you could hardly get in and close the door. Very steep steps to the room difficult with luggage even a small suitcase.

Tommaso and his son Sergio are amazing hosts and you are made to feel so welcome in their family home. The room is majestic, such beautiful antiques and the decor is so unique it feels like stepping back into another era. There is a lovely enclosed courtyard downstairs, where In the morning you will see Tommaso's mother preparing pasta. Three flights of steps lead up to the room, be prepared to duck under the wooden beams as you climb them. Nothing is too much trouble and you leave with regrets that your stay wasn't long enough. And a perfect location within the atmospheric old town of Bari..

Location is everything

Room, tiny box, couldnt fit in the toilet door let alone sit on it! No privacy, bed actually touched the toilet door! The 15sqm measurement was definately generous and the wires tying the headboard to the wall squeaked everytime you moved and the frame creaked so no sleep.

The location was perfect for discovering Bari Vecchia. In the heart of the old city, 1 min from the beautiful Cattedrale and buzzing piazza, but in a quiet nook. An island of peace to come back to. It’s a family-run place, where 3 generations of deeply rooted Barese welcome you with warmth and treat you like personal guests. Sergio, the youngest, was a darling: he picked me up gladly at the airport at an ungodly hour, gave me a little giro of the town on the way in, told me about what not to miss in Bari and set me up in a small but beautifully appointed room. His nonna (grandma) and aunts make orecchiette in the charming little courtyard but not for sale, just for the family. His nonno (grandpa) recommended the most wonderful place for a fish dinner. They really want their guests to understand and feel the pulse of their city. I was only there for 2 nights, but now i feel i have a home in Bari to go back to. And I will! I was very comfortable and happy in my cosy and charming room on the 1st floor. For longer stays, they recommend the bigger room on the 2nd Floor, with desk and chair.

The water pressure was at times weak, but this is a Bari Vecchia issue.

The character of the building and the character of inside the room lots of history you could feel it and the Nonna’s making orecchiette! Felt like part of the family!!

The room we had on the second floor was very small. The bathroom was very, very small. It’s a good room for one person.

Location was good in the old town

Stairs to access room were terrible. We can manage stairs, but these were narrow and steep, unacceptable with bags Shower was tiny and ran out of hot water after about 2 minutes, can’t even lift arms to wash hair the shower is that small Bed is uncomfortable. I sat on edge of bed to put shoes on and it broke

Lugar centrico, limpio, la dueña super linda persona! Me dio tips para ir a cenar y estaban buenisimos!!! Super recomendable!

Loved the deco & it was in a great location. We were given helpful tips from the owner as well. Will definitely be back.
