Enjoyed staying in such a unique property in the historic center of Bari! Great location with close proximity to everything, and a quiet room despite the central area. My room had such nice decor and a comfortable space. The entrance courtyard is picturesque and right off one of the main town squares. The host was kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. It was lovely being able to exit the property and be right in the heart of Bari's old town.

The stairs are not to be underestimated, especially due to their historic quality i.e. low clearance and narrow walkway. Thankfully the host carried my suitcase upstairs and I mostly enjoyed their uniqueness, but they may be a concern for others.

Wonderful location - old world experience in the room. Felt transported in time.

We received the warmest of welcomes from the longstanding owners (Maria & sister), their English speaking neighbour, Tommaso and Sergio, a friend’s son. We were given water, advice and smiles. A taxi to Bari Airport was arranged for us, which was very kind. This little oasis in the middle of the Centro Storico is a step back in time. It is one of a kind. It is not for anyone looking for cable tv, space and a coffee machine.

Our room was tiny, but perfect for a couple of nights for two females under 5 feet. Maybe less is more? The room had so much character, so it really didn’t need all the pictures and ornaments that made the room seem even smaller.

The room was very pretty and clean with all the amenities and the location is perfect, I felt I was experiencing living like a Local. And what deserves more than 10 stars is the hostess attention and help. It definitely went above and beyond my expectations. He right away answered my messages and send me the information I needed, gave me tips to eat around and places to go, ordered a taxi cab the day of my departure and they even accompanied me until I was ok the taxi. Highly recommended it

Timer on stairs needs to be adjusted to allow more time to access the upper apartment.

Staff are very friendly italian gramma and grandpa. The style of the building is very unique, and I am not sure if I can find another one in Bari. Additional, I was not aware I have to carry the checked luggage to the top floor, this is a very unique experience. I would recommend to others !

The hotel asks for tourist tax only by cash, which I was not prepared.

This adorable little place was the highlight of our trip. Although very small inside, it had everything we needed. Every detail was carefully thought out for perfect use of the space and for our comfort. It was literally steps from the lovely square.

There was nothing we disliked

Unique and historical building. The room was beautifully decorated with antique objects. Friendly family run business. Tomasso and Sergio provided information on places to visit and restaurants. Nonna was always on hand to help me with the front door. Tea and Coffee facilities, crockery and utensils and small fridge were greatly appreciated. Many cafes just outside and hearing the church bells. I did an interesting Bari walking tour through local company, Velo.

The shower was small but the bathroom was well designed given the available space.
