The window shutters were great nice and the location was pretty good too.

The apartment was noticeably dirty. There was mold in several areas — inside the shower, under the mop in the bucket, and even in the kitchen sponge holder. The floors were grimy and dusty (the reason why we were messing with the mop), and after just a few steps our feet would pick up dirt. Overall, it didn’t feel clean or well-maintained. The bed was too soft and uneven, causing you to roll toward the center. The pillows were flat, dirty, and offered no support. The couch, which doubles as a “third bed,” was old, broken, and extremely uncomfortable—you could feel the frame underneath. We had to use the mattress topper just to make it tolerable to sit on. It also couldn’t be positioned toward the TV as shown in the photos, so you end up watching by turning your head to the left. It felt like sitting on a few boards covered by a blanket. There were barely enough linens for a weeklong stay, and the washer/dryer combo was ineffective—it took forever to run and left our clothes smelling like roasted red peppers (or something similar). Whatever the cause, our laundry came out worse than it went in. Even setting the apartment aside, Bologna was not a pleasant experience. Cigarette smoke was constant—even in enclosed outdoor dining spaces where we were eating with our small child. The streets had dog and human waste everywhere, and the overall vibe felt unwelcoming to tourists. We also found the food scene overrated—most restaurants served nearly identical dishes, which made the “foodie city” reputation confusing. Between the dirty apartment, uncomfortable furnishings, and unpleasant city atmosphere, we left feeling disappointed and ready to go anywhere else. Bologna gave us the impression that it doesn’t particularly want tourists, so you might want to take your money elsewhere.

Everything was very nice, I highly recommend it. The location was perfect.

There’s nothing I didn’t like.

A clean and cozy place in a very good location. 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the best attractions of Bologna. 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. The sofa bed in sitting room wasn't usable, clearly needs to be changed. Fully equipped kitchen , warm with big windows, bathroom with great hygiene standards and hot water 24 hours. Simply a great deal.

The location was excellent, the flat was well set out to use the space optimally. It was decorated simply and nicely. It was well-equipped with a kettle, microwave and coffee makers plus cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. We appreciated the clear instructions with photos for checking in and out, and messages to confirm our arrival and departure.

The pillows were not very comfortable. The rooms were a bit too hot at night. Opening the windows helped, but it was a little noisy. A dishwasher might have been useful.

The quiet flat is very well located, comfortable and clean. I contacted the hosts via Whatsapp on several occasions which worked perfectly. All our questions and also wishes were completely satisfied. I recommend this place dearly.

The guests next door used the safety lock for the entrance door which leads to both flats. We had to wake them up in the middle of Saturday night to let us access our flat. Make sure you do not use that safety lock which isn't needed since you can lock your own door.
