I’ve stayed in many places over the years, but I must say, this is one of my absolute favourites! It’s spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need, including a very generous and plentiful supply of water and snacks. The location is perfect, right by the historic center and very close to the station if you want to visit the archaeological site. You can even see the site and the sea right from the large bedroom window! There are also great restaurants and a supermarket close by. Maurizio is super nice and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond, even holding a parking space for me when I arrived late. I can’t imagine how Casa Battista could possibly be improved - Bravo Maurizio!

Everything!! Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Host has thought of every convenience. Host very helpful. Parking easy, free, close by. Modern apartment. Lift outside door. Cute balcony. Amazing view from bedroom.

A little noisy from the bar below at night, but done by 11pm and ear plugs helped.

​We stayed here for three nights in late April, and Maurizio was a fantastic host. He met us to help find the location and allowed an early check-in, which made our arrival so smooth. The place is beautiful and spotless; we loved the "red" kitchen theme and vintage appliances! ​Maurizio was incredibly thoughtful with amenities—plenty of snacks, water, and coffee. He was always available to answer messages, day or night. The high-quality towels and comfy bed made for a very comfortable stay. The building is lovely, and being in the heart of the shopping and dining district was perfect. ​Note: The area is lively at night; light sleepers might want earplugs. ​Pro Tips for the Valley of the Temples: ​The Bus: It’s very easy to catch a bus from the old town. It’s €1.40 if you buy in advance or €1.70 on board. A day pass for €3.40 is the best value. ​Strategy: Go early to beat the crowds and heat. With the day pass, you can even return for sunset (highly recommended!). ​Photos: I’ve included a shot of the train station taken from our bedroom window and a photo of the building itself.

Molt ben situat amb bones vistes, molt cómode i net, moltes prestacions i decorat amb molt de gust. A més, molt fàcil la gestió amb Maurizio. Fantàstic!

L’accueil efficace et généreux de Maurizio L’emplacement et la vue imprenable sur la vallée des temples et la mer. Le confort et la propreté de l’appartement. Le petit balcon qui nous met dans l’ambiance sicilienne. Nous avons également apprécié de pouvoir aller à pied jusque l’entrée de la vallée des temples ( 3kms).
