Location is good. Home looks pretty and nicely decorated. Bedrooms are a good size with plenty of room.

There was black mould in the kitchen sink and it felt disgusting to use so we didn’t use the kitchen at all. The staircase to upstairs looks pretty, but is not practical (had no railings and very narrow) and as such you can’t get your suitcase upstairs to the 2 bedrooms so we had to keep them downstairs. The terrace was good but it doesn’t get cleaned so was really grimy and dusty and as there were no cleaning products to clean it, we then didn’t end up using it. Also, there is only 1 tv in the apartment and it’s in the small bedroom with sofa bed. There are stains on the basins in 1 bathroom and the bedroom I slept in had a huge divot and you kept rolling in the middle so we had to sleep sideways on the bed with our feet hanging over. If you don’t want to deal with lots of stairs with your luggage then maybe look elsewhere.

Great location. Stylish, spotlessly clean apartment overlooking the sea.

Bed just a single sheet so difficult to sleep, very thin single pillow. Coffee pods did not fit in machine so no coffee in the morning. Broken floor tiles, showers dirty and rusting, old and not to the standard expected.

The location.

Weak showers. Floors were dirty in places. Beds were hard and not that comfortable. Salty tap water. No toiletries provided other than used shampoo and used shower gel bottles. Bad value for money.

The apartment is stunning. The location is perfect, the view is unbelievable and everything was just wonderful. Highly recommend it.

Excellent accommodation in Ortygia, Syracuse. Veronique by Dimore is well-located, has a stunning view of the ocean and the apartment is lovely. My friend and I had a wonderful stay. The property is highly recommended.

Personal contact with the host would have been appreciated and helpful. Not all photos were accurate. The picture of the roof terrace for example was misleading because it is not a communal area as we thought. Rubbish must be removed at the end of the stay, but there is no guidance as to where to put it (only a daily schedule).
