Clean, convenient quiet and the hosts were very helpful.

We just loved Bologna, it is by far one of the prettiest and calmest large cities we have had the pleasure of visiting. The apartment has all that you require, indeed maybe a bit too much in the kitchen as there is little worktop space to prepare meals on. The WiFi and air con were very good and the washing machine was so handy to have. The apartment is around a 15 minute walk to the main bus and train station and around another 15 minute walk to the towers in the centre of town. There are some cafés and restaurants within walking distance too. We used one of the double beds to find ourselves on top of each other in the middle of the night, we were glad there was another room available, which was very comfortable. The house is very clean and it was convenient having two toilets, albeit we found them a little difficult to manoeuvre in, particularly when using the WC and showers.

It would be handy if the welcome pack had more detail within it, for example bus information and taxi phone numbers etc. We did lose electricity on three occasions within three days, which ruined our meals prepared in the oven, Antonella was very quick to respond. Both Antonella and Diego live on the next floor up, they came down within minutes. There is some refurbishment work taking place on the same floor, we were fortunate to be out most of the day, missing most of the noise.
