Cerasella House is located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood, which is a great advantage in the otherwise pretty lively Castellammare. It's also great that the house has its own private parking lot, because on-street parking can be a challange. The apartment boasts a spacious balcony with a beautiful view - so spacious, in fact, that we decided to sleep on the balcony in open air. The kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom are well equipped. We especially liked the simple but sturdy DeLonghi coffee machine able to brew really strong espresso. The hosts were very nice and helpful, even when we needed help in the middle of the night due to a disruption in municipal water supply.

Our comments in a few points: 1) First and foremost, this apartment is advertised to accommodate 4 people, but it fails to comfortably sleep more than 2. The bedroom is perfectly fine with a proper double bed and air conditioning. The extendable sofa in the kitchen, however, was in very poor repair (all mattress frame slats were loose and actually fell out as you turned), and with no air con installed and no way to air the kitchen through, the heat was unbearable. 2) At the time we booked, the offer contained a pool our daughter was very much looking forward to. This was later removed from the offer without any notice, so we only found out there was no pool on the spot. (For anyone who books now, the pool is no longer listed so no false expectations are raised.) 3) There was a rather short supply of toilet paper and washing up liquid. 4) This is beyond the hosts' control but it might be useful to know that power cuts often occur in the house. They don't take longer than a few minutes, but they also affect the electric gate to the private parking lot. It's a bit tricky when a power cut comes just as you want to drive in or out.

The apartment is lovely with secure parking

Everything is spoiled by location and bad host management who seem not to care about their guests. 1 We arranged check in 2200-2300, we received a message at 2218 asking us to give 30 mins notice for check in.....Obviously far too late for this instruction! We didn't receive this because we were driving from the airport, so we were left waiting late at night for 30 mins! 2 The photos are misleading, we stayed in Apartment 5....there is no balcony here, we were not shown a balcony by Luca...although we found what maybe a shared balcony full of washing??..see pic No welcome pack/instructions. No instructions for waste or waste bags No basic essentials...no bottled water, no kitchen roll, no hand wash/soap.... which all seems very petty and mean spirited. 3 The key for the Apartment building did not work although this was replaced the next day! 4 A nice old coffee machine but no instructions or coffee/capsules 5 The streets all around the area are incredibly narrow. Unless you are driving a very small car and are a confident driver it is one of the worst areas for driving a car and I have driven cars all over Italy and worldwide. 6 Because of the above this also makes walking dangerous as the footpaths are very narrow or do not exist at all. The area is really hilly and the walk back up from the town centre is a steep hard slog of over 25 mins on a hot day. 7 Although English was stated as a language, communication was difficult in this language at times. All in we were very disappointed at our stay but it looks like this will not matter.... so I would not recommend anyone staying here

Nice clean apartment . Nice views from the terrace . Easy access to pompei ans sorrento. Good parking availability.

Felt kitchen needed more equipment, especially if you want to self cater and cook some of our own meals. Which we wanted to do. Couldn't use the cooker as there were no oven dishes or trays to cook.

The apartment is spacious, being well located in a safe, quiet area, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, great for exploring both Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, but you have to keep in mind that the access could be a bit complicated without a car. A great advantage is the free parking inside the courtyard, which is very secure. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a long stay, there is also a washing machine inside, which is very useful when you travel with little luggage. The wi-fi signal was stong, we found everything nice decorated and the cleanliness was impeccable. The hosts are kind, always available to help us with everything we needed. They left us biscuits, toast, croissants and chocolate cream for a rich breakfast, even beer and Coca Cola in the fridge. We felt wonderful here and would love to come back on a future vacation.

Very good location for trips to Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Naples, Pompei and Vesuvio. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities, it is also quiet during the night. There is a private parking as well.
