Haus Birnbacher

The Hockönig card given with the appartment is excelent. The location of the appartments is perfect for hiking around the region.

Perfect location and you have all you need in the apartment. Landlords are very friendly. They make you feel like home.

Central Location .Very nice bakery,supermarket and swimming pool nearby.It was a 20 minute walk to karbachlift.

Our host was super friendly and welcoming. Our apartment was larger than it looks in the photos with all the amenities we needed and was immaculately clean. There's also a place to store your snowboards and a boot room to keep your boots dry and warm. The view from our flat overlooking the river and mountains was gorgeous! There's a ski bus stop right opposite the accommodation and it is a short 5 minute walk into Muhlbach village where the majority of restaurants and the Spar shop are located.

Can't fault the experience we had to be honest!

The apartment just has everything one could think of, including a complete set of quality pots and plates, dishwasher, nice and very practical table, comfortable beds, and a very nice view from the window. The apartment was clean, quiet and warm. In the property, there is also a special room for skis and another one (heated) for ski boots and other equipment. The house is close to a bus stop (approx. 100 m) so you can put your ski boots on in the house, and take a free ski bus to the lifts (Kabinenbahn Karbachalm; the bus goes every 20 or 30 minutes, depending on time of the day). If there is enough snow, one can use the village ski route (Skiweg nach Ortsmitte) to return to the property on skis (which occasionally makes Haus Birnbacher the ski-in property). The route starts at the end of the parking place below the Kabinenbahn and ends directly at Haus Birnbacher. Unfortunately, we could use the route only once and had to remove the skis twice in the way to cross local roads with no snow. In a better snow conditions, that would certainly be a very nice option for returning home.

The host is really nice. The apartment is well equipped. The location is great if you like hiking.

It's a bit hard to find . Currenttly there is a building being built near the house so there is a crane in the window view of some of the apartments. There was noise though.
