This first floor above ground level apartment is located in a quiet area of Como about a 10 minute walk from Como San Giovanni train station. When we arrived at the apartment, we called the host who had a young man meet us there with the keys. He gave us a quick tour of the modern, spacious apartment that included a well-equipped combined kitchen/dining and living room area, a bathroom and two bedrooms with good views of the surrounding hills. Spotlessly clean, good internet and comfortable beds. Lots of natural light throughout the apartment. Elevator service in addition to easy stairs from lobby ground level to the first floor apartment. The host responded promptly to messaging. The apartment is in a pleasant, well-kept area of Como with a good supermarket about a 10 minute walk. The street number did not appear to be on the apartment building, but we located the building without too much difficulty. Quiet neighborhood at night. Convenient location with good shopping and Como’s beautiful lakefront are only 10 to 15 minute walks. For people walking to the train station with heavy luggage, heads up that the station is a bit of a climb uphill from the apartment. My wife and I would stay at this apartment again without hesitation and recommend it to others.

Location - Fantastic! Come out of the apartment and you have a set of crossroads right infront of you, turn right and you're in the main area for bars and restaurants, turn left you have a 5 min walk to the train station and go straight ahead you have a small walk to the Lake. Apartment itself - Brilliant! The apartment was SO clean and with all white everything looks very modern and stylish. As you enter the apartment you are greeted by a long hallway stretching out infront of you, on the right hand side of this hallway you have 4 large wardrobes, more than enough storage! On the left you have a set of 3 doors. Door 1 - twin bedroom with 2 single but comfortable beds, a desk, TV and shelving unit. Each Single bed has a reading lamp and a small shelf aswell as a set of wall sockets above each bed meaning you can charge that all important phone/tablet etc. Door 2 - bathroom including shower, washbasin, bidet, toilet aswell as an extendable towel rack (pull it out, toward you ;) ) and a washing machine. Door 3 - double bedroom, it contained a double bed (I think, we stayed in room 1) aswell as a bedside table on each side, a desk, a tv and a safe (we didnt use it but i'll get onto that later!) The master bedroom also has the benefit of having a small balcony, there is the small inconvenience of haveing the AC unit on there but you can still stand on here and view the magnificent views you get from that side of the apartment of a beautiful mountainside adordned with an illuminated cross on the top. Straight ahead of you in the hallway is the livingroom/kitchen, there is a dining table for 4 people, and two additional lounge chairs that you could use to easily sit 6 people around if needed, A large SMART TV, a sofa that folds down into a bed and a fully appointed kitchen. Every room full AC and every window has electric roller shutters, add in the fact you have a door that you have to turn the key in 5 times, you're practiallcally in Fort Knox!

The flat is very big. Clean and comfortable. Super fast wireless internet connection. Very close to town, and parking spaces (pay by the hour) opposite the flat. A/C in all rooms is a plus. Comfortable beds

Unfortunately we could hear the neighbour talking loud early in the morning. And a dog starting barking and yowling at 6:30 in the morning at some neighbours flat in the same house so that we could not sleep anymore. So rather thin walls we assume. Shower cabin should be repaired as the door is not properly fixed. All in all we would try it out again though :)
