Villa Maghetti - modernized flat in historic palazzo in the center of Luino

Wonderful apartment, tastefully restored and located in a beautiful old building. Perfectly situated in the older part of Luino. Luino is a charming small town. Small enough that everything can be reached on foot, but with everything you could wish for for a short vacation and with easy ferry, train, and bus connections. Despite the town's location right by Lago Maggiore, it wasn't overrun by tourists but rather had a very "everyday" feel to it – and that suited us very well. Very friendly host, Marc, who was available to provide tips on what we could experience and was immediately ready to help if there were any issues with the apartment.

With the location in the narrow streets filled with stone houses, the acoustics from the road are not the best up in the apartment on the second floor. To be able to sleep, we had to keep the windows closed, which meant that it was very hot at night. We would have wished for air conditioning or at least some fans.

Very nice and well equipped flat, very clean. Great location, short walking distance to shops, restaurants and harbour. Very friendly and helpful landlord

This property is a jewel..it is fantastically located with your own parking space..but it is magnificent,beautifully decorated and just gorgeous.
