"Great appartment with a nice beach nearby"

The appartment is spacious, modern, well furnished. The beds are really really confortable. There are 2 big balconies and a really nice roof with the view of mt Etna. The beach next door is really nice as well (and clean!)

The neighbourhood is quite dirty, there was also a street fight under our appartment, but we feelt like it was just not the turist season yet.

"Exceptional"

The apartment is so "bad" that I wanted to stay in it forever. Must say: one of the best places I ever stayed. You have literally everything so you will feel like you're at your own home. If I need to grade 1 to 10 I'll give 20. So clean not even a touch of a dust. Everything in place, smell nice, next to the beach (need just to cross the street), nearby local market and restaurant. This is a place where you can have a proper quiet vacation. The owners were so kind so they came and picked us up from Fiumefreddo train station. (That's one bad thing, we were in low season so transportation isn't that good, you need to rent a car). Also they too us to Giardini next day and we had chance to visit one more place.

"Very good"

8.0

Spacious, clean and comfortable. There was lift which was handy especially for luggage. It was super close to the beach. Our host let us use his bike. It was tranquil and not super touristy, more authentic we think. We met lots of friendly locals.

We didn't realise a lot of things were closed due to the season not starting until June. We were there in May. You'd do better to have a car.
