"It could have been amazing but too many inconveniences"

The location was stunning. The apartment was spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was a convenient cafe close by that was open for breakfast.

Despite checking in online a week before our stay, we did not receive any information on how to collect the keys. I sent multiple emails and tried calling. I eventually reached Paride (the agent) on our way to the airport. He sent me a pdf of instructions in a WhatsApp message. It was a 8Mb file that was challenging to open at the airport with limited signal. When we got to the apartment there was a pair of wet swimming trunks on the doormat. The fridge was full of opened drinks and food. There was a used towel by the bathroom sink. The shower head didn't work properly, it was like standing under a running tap. Air con was limited to one mobile unit that needed a window to be left open for the vent pipe; not efficient when it was 30C outside.
