La Polesana

It was authentic, some very nice old fashioned Italian furnishings and a beautiful ceiling mural in the hallway. The location was good, 15 min walk to town and 5 minute walk to the train station.

It was quite old and dated, needs some work, tape holding some things together and a little grubby in places but generally clean. The beds in the bedrooms were very uncomfortable. The third bed was a sofa bed in the lounge and was comfortable but awkward if you wanted to spend time relaxing inside space wise as there was 6 of us. Would be more comfortable for 5-4 people only in the bedrooms. There was no toaster or grill to make toast for breakfast.

We liked that there was lots of space and that there was a washing machine available. The outdoor area was also great to eat outside when the weather was nice. The location was great too.

The property needs some repairs and also needed to be cleaned a bit better. The shower base was full of hair and was also clogging up when we had a shower so the base would fill with water. Ants in the bathroom and toilet paper used to fill gaps in the pipes below the sink. The oven door wouldn’t close so we couldn’t use it and the tile splash back had tape holding some of the tiles on. There was 7 of us staying so it would have also been helpful to have a second set of keys.

Fantastic location, Mario the host was superb and was there to meet us on arrival. The outside seating area was beautiful and a savior from the heat.

Beds were hard and the oven door wouldn’t shut. Some cooking basics would have been appreciated eg cooling oil. We used the living room as a bedroom but couldn’t use the three air conditioning units at the same time which in intensive heat was annoying. We were bitten badly from mosquitoes at night but appreciate that was not their fault!

Excellent location. Very relaxing and loved the outside space. Very secure and safe.

We unknowningly turned off Hot water and didn't know. Couldn't find where switch was as not identified

Big apartment with many beautiful details, the location is very convenient and the parking area is a big plus

We really liked that it was spacious. The courtyard area was great, and we loved that it was a 5 minute walk to the main road of Sorrento. There is a washing machine which was a bonus (though we bought our own detergent), and it was great to be able to cook our own meals when we didn’t want to go out for dinner.

There wasn’t enough toilet paper for us all, and no bathmat either so the bathroom floor got quite dirty. But those are easily fixed!
