Posizione ottima, appena dentro alle mura e a 5 minuti dai monumenti e dalla vita cittadina. Chi gestisce molto disponibile.

Il bagno magari da rivedere. La mancanza di ganci per asciugamani e accappatoi.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, gut ausgestattet.

Die Wohnung ist direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Sollte man nur das Schlafzimmer benötigen, hört man diese nicht. Wir waren aber zu 5. Da musste jemand auf dem Sofa schlafen und es war schon etwas lauter Daher bitte Oropax einpacken. Dafür ist man mitten in der Altstadt.

The availability of free parking outside the city walls

Its location was unbelievably noisy not just from cars but pedestrians and residents above. Absolutely nothing in the apartment such as a hospitality tray or even a bottle of water!

Great apartment; perfect location; great host!

Nothing it was perfect!

Perfect location in walking distance to all the important sites and to just stroll throughout Lucca during the day and night. The apartment is in an older building with private entrance on via della Rosa so no climbing stairs - you just step in. Large living space with two separate bedrooms, of which we only used one, but was nice to spread out our travel items. Also available is a washing machine and drying rack (behind a closed door in a separate room) both of which we used. Strong Wifi and also wall-mounted TV for news and entertainment. Although we did not cook, there are all the necessary items for that. Also, one minute walk to the lovely Pasticceria Dianda for those morning pastries! Finally, we travel my car, so owner provided many suggestions all of which we considered, but chose the free Mercato OrtoFrutticolo at Via Pubblici Macelli. (In my opinion, it appears that maybe the reason it's free is that it looks like the Mercato no longer functions, so the city has made it free public parking.) At any rate, we parked there for three nights with no issues. It is a 20 minute walk to the apartment, so consider that, but the walk can be easy if you cross over the busy street to the lovely walking path near the Lucca wall.

(1) I won't repeat all the issues other reviews have mentioned, many of them true, other than just for people to know again, the street out front is very busy with foot, car and truck traffic. That being said, the street does quiet down during sleep time, with noise waking again around 06:00. Therefore, we weren't so concerned about this because we could sleep with no worries. (The primary bedroom is in the back part of the apartment. The second bedroom is in a side room where the street noise could be an issue, but again the street quiets down at night.) (2) I think the apartment could use a thorough cleaning with sweeping and mopping especially in the bathroom. (Just a personal opinion). (3) Finally, I would recommend more towel hooks in the bathroom and also a toilet tissue holder. I was surprised that such an important feature is missing - the toilet tissue roll had to be perched on some surface nearby (sink counter, bidet faucet handle, garbage can top) rather than a tissue holder. These are my only reasons for rating this apartment a nine.
