The host was very helpful and responsive. She was as kind as to even send a friend to pick me up from the bus stop (which is not far but it's a steep climb) The flat is very clean and the view of the lake from the terrace is simply breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous! I will certainly go back when I can. Highly recommended!

A beautiful view from a spacious balcony. Located close to the main piazza of Castel Gandolfo. Lots of amenities- fully equipped kitchen, lovely bedroom, and high ceilings.

Not a deal breaker but the washing machine spin cycle didn't work very well - clothes came out and needed hand-wringing. Wouldn't matter to most people as we don't usually travel to do our washing!

The location is exceptional with the most beautiful view across the lake. Our host was super nice and helpful. We could not have asked for anything better!

We just loved this apartment—very homey and comfortable. As previously mentioned in other reviews, the views from the large terrace are beautiful. The terrace has a table and chairs and also lounge chairs, very comfy and perfect for soaking in that view! The location is perfect, 2 or 3 minutes walk to most of the restaurants, and the main square. We used it as a base to explore the Castelli Romani area for 11 nights and it was always great to return “home” and sit back and relax until dinner. We only used public transportation and the apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. While we didn’t cook in, the kitchen is well equipped for those who would like to make a meal with kitchen utensils, pots and pans in good condition. There are some spices and olive oil. Coffee and tea, sugar is all there for you. Giovanna is terrific and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She left us a bowl of strawberries and a bottle of wine, among other things. She texted several times to make sure that we had everything we needed and to see how the trip was going. If she doesn’t know about a question, she will put you in contact with someone who can help. Not only that, she picked us up when we arrived at the train station with our luggage as it is quite a climb up to the town. She was a perfect host, very easygoing. We cannot say enough good things about her. Thank you, Giovanna for everything you did for us and making us feel at home. You were the best host we ever had and your kindness’s will never be forgotten

The views! The beautiful town, the comfy bed. This property was perfect for my husband and I. It had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very gracious and extremely hospitable. We felt at home and well taken care of. Would love to visit again!

Parking was a challenge but the host graciously offered her parking space to us.
