We weren't aware that there were eleven steps before the lift, and twenty after you get to 6th floor, before you reach the apartment.

Our stay was pretty much perfect in every way. A well-equipped lovely studio on a quiet street just a couple of blocks from the main gate to the Old Town center, colisuem, and everything wonderful in the enchanting streets of the old city. Light, modern and airy. Good air conditioning. Windows across the entire upper portion of the walls providing a panoramic view of the city. I actually laughed when I saw the gorgeous view from the bathroom! Our hostess was incredible. She promptly met us on arrival, provided all kinds of useful information, and was immediately responsive to any questions. Good wi-fi. There happened to be a travel worker strike the day of our departure, and Fabrizia pre-emptively notified us and was available to help. I wish we could have stayed a month. We would love to return to Verona, and when we do, we will not look for anywhere else to stay if room is available at La Mansarda Panoramic.

My canned disclaimer applies to this property as to all others: Experience is about expectations. This is not a full-service Ritz Carlton hotel. It is not a palace. It is not directly overlooking a piazza or landmark. It does not have a balcony. It is a studio apartment on the top floor of an apartment building but it is not a "penthouse". It is clean, quiet, full of light, with a comfortable bed, coffeemaker, airconditioning, and all the basics. A wonderful respite after hot, full, crazy days of sightseeing. No negatives.

Not really a problem for us, but there are no curtains in the bathroom; that might be a problem at night for some.

Location on top floor with beautiful view, elevator, modern, close to places of interest.

Communication was difficult, partly due to our difficulties with the app. Host wanted to see our passports before arranging dropoff of keys, but getting a photo to her was hard to do.

Near to the historical city, 10 min, but also 10 min from the station. Quiet house, nice view, apartment has everything you need for a stay. Landlord was nice and gave some advice, which was useful. Had a pleasant stay and would recommend it for a stay in the beautiful city of Verona.
