Villa Mastrissa Taormina

The house was beautiful and very clean and incredibly well stocked with very nice amenities, kitchen supplies etc. The owner Livio was so unbelievably gracious and went above and beyond when my father staying elsewhere in Taormina had an unfortunate accident and Livio helped me at the hospital with translating, printing medical documents for me etc. I cannot recommend the house or the owners more and I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

The unit was huge with a stunning view of Taormina. Bed was really comfortable. It had most of the things we needed for our stay.

You need to be a confident driver to get up the hill to the accommodation.

Stunning property, beautiful views, spacious apartment, very nicely decorated, and very friendly helpful hosts.

Some very minor improvements that would have made the trip absolutely perfect... - Make sure there are some dish cloths provided in the kitchen so we can dry dishes - Put a general waste bin in the kitchen area - Provide more than 3 toilet rolls per week - Provide olive oil in the kitchen - Provide more than 3 coffee pods for 1 week for 2 guests - The towels felt a little old and over-used, maybe time to buy new towels? These are all really small things that didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay, but some small ideas to make it even better!

Location was OK but roads very steep and winding - wouldn’t suit nervous drivers!

Livio was an amazing host that helped us with all our questions. Upon arrival he welcomed us and recommended all the best places to eat, drink and visit.

Beautiful villa ! I was in love with it to the point I wanted to buy it :P I mean I would love to buy it ;) :P I loved the spacious bright kitchen. Nicely equipped . We had everything we needed. Small private pool :) Fantastic weather :) Lovely host :)

The location is quite remote. So obviously without a car it's impossible to get there . The taxis are available during the day but not available at night so it was a problem for us to come back to the villa in the middle of the night ( coming back from the wedding ).I won't tell you how we got back as its ridiculous and quite unbelievable. Anyway. The villa and our stay there was great.
