Stunning view of Lake Como from all the windows.

Everything was great. The apartment is located in a beautiful garden with an amazing view. It’s a truly comfortable and well-equipped accommodation.

The only slight inconvenience for us was that check-in was only available from 4:00 PM, and unfortunately, there was no option to leave our luggage beforehand.

The views from the apartment are stunning. The little garden area overlooks the lake and the gardens are kept lovely. The setting makes this apartment. The traditional style is very nice and the apartment is spacious and very quiet. There is mostly everything to make use of and once you've found it and accessed the tight winding driveway it's great! Irina the host is lovely and very helpful when detailing how to find the entrance. If you are driving then anything bigger than a VW Golf, may be somewhat awkward to get round the driveway! It is possible to easily walk down to the lake road and along the road to Menaggio, 20 mins, a small initial part has no path but it is fine. Take a torch as you'll need it for walking back up from the road, up the driveway, although there are light switches on the drive the lights aren't that bright but you can see mostly to get back up to the apartment villa. We enjoyed our stay and it was a good location to enjoy the lake whether by bus to the other villages such as Lenno or by boat over to Varenna for example from Menaggio, lovely.

Although the host tries hard to provide photos and details of the entrance for the villa address, it is actually a bit difficult to find. We came down from the north so had to turn around in order to follow the directions and after being at the wrong gate and slope entrance, which looked identical to the correct gate etc, and having to ring the host, we eventually got to the right gate and accessed the driveway to go up to the villa. I would suggest them using, what 3 words app, so you can be guided in from the main, lake, road. Irina was lovely and knew it was difficult to find the entrance. She was very helpful. The apartment is housed in a beautiful villa which has a couple of private owned apartments too. There was everything to make use of although a couple of small maintenance details could have been better kept. I would suggest a few nice pictures on the walls, especially the bedroom would enhance the decor and feel more homely. Linen is provided but the quilts were in the wardrobe and had no quilt covers provided!? We were there in October so you did need a quilt as well as a sheet. I found a nice bedspread in the wardrobe too so used this too in order to be warm enough at night. The kettle lid was broken so didn't close properly, one of the bedside lamps needed a new bulb, so couldn't use that one. Maybe a rug in the lounge near the TV area would be more comfortable too as the floors are all wooden, lovely but abit sparce in homely feeling. These aren't complaints but just suggestions that could enhance this nice accommodation even more.

The view is what made this stay particularly spectacular. The apartment itself was very comfortable, the king sized mattress especially so. The apartment living spaces were spacious with the exception of the kitchen which was a little lacking in countertop space but then who wants to spend all their time in the kitchen on holiday anyway. The gardens are beautifully presented and the view of the lake is just next level. The host management company was great with communication. The check in instructions, whilst a bit complicated were very thorough.

We nicknamed the shower, 'The prison shower' for the rather exuberant firehose velocity with which the water was delivered. But it certainly left you feeling clean. The consumables we received were not enough I'm sorry to say. It would have been nice to receive more than a single tiny sachet of dishwashing liquid, 2 dishwashing tablets, 2 sachets of shampoo and body wash and just two half-rolls of toilet paper for a 5 night stay. It was just lucky that we discovered the stash of previous occupants 2 unfinished rolls had been left in the entrance sideboard cabinet. We were supplied with 2 coffee pods. 1 that fit the coffee machine and one that didn't... and no milk. It's also a requirement to dispose of your own rubbish. We did our best to during our stay but the disposal point was extremely difficult to access and it was quite a distance along roads with no footpaths as we were travelling on foot and not by car. My husband has been hit by cars twice in his life and so was understandably a bit jumpy with this situation. Perhaps a collection point at the bottom of the driveway would be a stellar improvement... The kettle lid was broken and wouldn't close properly. It would pop open while pouring and scald you with steam. There were no covers on the duvets either which we weren't sure was an oversight or not. Just a piece of friendly advice to future occupants: The driveway up to the property is quite long and windy so if you're catching the bus, try your best to jump off at the correct bus stop: 'Menaggio - Pastura' and don't ride it all the way to Menaggio like we did. It's a big walk back if you're dragging suitcases, and then up the steep hill if you miss it. In order to get these views and quiet from road noise, you need to climb a fair distance up and so in the end it was worth it though.

Apartment Anna was the perfect place for our holidays. The apartment's location and amenities were amazing. And the view, what a view! I have no words to describe that view. Whenever I opened the living room window, a 'uauuuu' sound came out of my mouth. Just amazing.

The apartment was cleaned, but I really think it could be better for the kitchen tools.

The views of the apartment were amazing! And the gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The facilities were great and very clean. The rooms are very well maintained and lots of thoughtful supplies dotted around the apartment. Everything you need is within the property. The laundry room is accessible under the apartment with all fixtures and fittings as well as supplies to use. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Sofas were comfy and had lots of storage space around the property. The apartment was easy to access at the gate and was safe. We had no trouble during our stay. The apartment was everything and more! We would love to come again!

There are only two downsides I found during my stay here; the first would be not having air conditioning in the bedroom. Although you are equipped with fans during your stay. I found it was too hot to sleep some nights. We found shutting the window shutters somewhat helpful, but I think a machine fitting may ease the heat during the night. The other downfall is not to do with the property itself but the road accessing the property. It's not safe to walk to and from the apartment and only one bus stop is accessible. You have to have your own transport. Scooters are readily available in Menaggio and is the best way to get around the lake. Very well valued. Although you need a car to move suitcases around!

Size of the garden was impressive

Guests are requested to dispose their rubbish by themselves on the last day - sorry, not acceptable at this price. There should be toilet paper enough for a couple of days - it is so inexpensive that this should not be a problem. I did get 2 rolls for 5 days. Same for shower gel.
