"Quiet and private"

It was quiet and private with nice lake views

The kitchen was small and there was limited information about what to do. The road into Belgirate was dangerous to walk on and there was no access to the lake

"Passable"

The apartment has airco, a kitchenette with refrigerator, a garden and a place to park the car. The region is excellent for well-trained cyclists (lots of steep slopes).

The location is not convenient: in order to safely reach the nearest interesting places (Stresa or Belgirate), it is necessary to go along a 2 lane road without bike or pedestrian path over 4km. The so-called private beach is not suitable for laying or swimming. The roads around the lake are not suitable for relaxed biking. In the neighborhood there are very little facilities for kayaking or canoo, and Lago Maggiore in general turned out to be much less attractive for water activities than other lakes in the region. People from one of the ferries from Stresa to one of the islands tried to cheat by asking to pay once more upon the return trip.

"Superb"

Beautiful apartment with a wonderful view on the Lago Maggiore. Nicely decorated and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom with a bidet, large shower and washing machine. You have a personal parking slot close to the apartment. There a lots of nice places around that can be reached by car within 5-30 minutes.

The address in booking.com did not lead to the right place when we copied it to Google Maps. If you go there during winter time bring house shoes because the floor is very cold (which is probably refreshing in summer).
