The breakfast was set for one day it was in plastic, we ate it once after cleaning the kitchen we had to clean the whole apartment as it was so filthy we could not cook there because everything had to go through the washing machine first and there where no cleaning appl ieniences I ended looking for them so I could clean. the coffee machine was filthy and did not work. I was told to contact Fabio in the store his answer to everything is no English and he was to tired from working in the store to be bothered when we arrived we had to ring all the doorbells and some other person told us to wait for the owner, I don't mind speaking Italian and I get the frustration from mass tourism and being overworked but this sign of 9.9 from booking since 2017 or something is not helping. the beds where clean with clean sheets, and the bathroom was clean and the towels.. the floors and the mats where dirty, the washing machine only worked once then the floors flooded, the terrace was dirty with broken chairs. when it rained one night the top flooded down the stairs and the window in the living room. we send a message through booking as they did not understand English. so when I left went down to the store where the owner was and showed him everything and that we had cleaned the apartment and dried the floors. I do not go on holiday to clean departments, I used to be a cleaner and they should really hire one, as their bathroom was filled with dirt and personal belongings and dirty floor mats. dirty broom, dirty kitchen cabinets, I ended up showing everything to the owner who was a elderly man clearly overworked from running his store he was really sorry and gave me a bowl because of the water

Having to clean everything so we could stay there I don't go on holiday booking an apartment that gets high score on booking only to having 3 days to clean, i would have liked to cook there and got a coffee and some breakfast as promised but we bought everything and went out for everything I ended up cleaning everything we used and washing the mats on the floor, They need to sell it to someone else and hire 2 cleaners and buy new furniture for the terrace. and hire someone who speaks English my son also fell through a chair at the desk in the living room as it was broken broken terrace furniture and filthy out there I am guessing that Fabio or the elderly owner cleaned the whole thing with dirty mops the only thing that was clean where the beds, and the toilets and sink the soap dispenser was broken no extra toilet paper no extra soap no wc cleaner I found that on the last day and put it in the toilets everything was kind of old dirty window shelfs dirty kitchen cabinets inside every cutlery had to go through the dishwater fridge was frozen and didn't close dirty coffee machine dirty plate for the fruits dirty bowls for the jam dirty tray for the breakfast dirty floors with hair and dust on them dirty mats on the floor I just felt sorry for them please go on a vacation both of you and do something for your self's allot of old stuff on the desk that are not relaxant for guests as well in the shelves'.

Everything. It was very spacious and clean and had great rooms and bathrooms. Loved the roof top for in the afternoons.

Very convenient location and comfortable living area with dining room and kitchen.

Lots of stairs and no elevator so be prepared to climb a lot.

Location is great. Small grocery next door; family owned cafeteria with great food across the street, easy walk (a bit uphill, but everything in Assisi is uphill or downhill) to the Comune as well as to the Basilica of St. Francis (downhill). The apartment with two bedrooms and baths was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. My sister cooked and baked (because that is what she likes to do). An abundance of towels in the bathrooms was appreciated. The apartment is 4 stories up, so folks with walking issues would find it difficult. For us, however, it kept us in shape for walking Assisi’s streets.

It's a second floor apartment so there are quite a few stairs!

Breakfast was typical Italian, crostini, croissant, coffee. All freely available. Excellent central location. Friendly host available for the duration of the stay. Would definitely recommend and return.

Absolutely stunning apartment with everything you could possibly wish for and more. Fabio and his uncle where so friendly and helpful I can highly recommend this accommodation , you will not be disappointed

There was nothing to dislike. Only caution is that there are a lot of steps up to the apartment so not suitable for anyone with disabilities, that said neither is Assisi.
