Right beside the port and the beach. Brilliant location, gorgeous apartment with beautiful views

Location was great, close to train, ferry, restaurants. Love the little balcony!!! And the bright space Nice communication with Daigoro.

A few small things: toilet seat wouldn't stay up, annoying. And hairdryer needs to be replaced, cord frayed. Also, front door key a little tricky at first. Twin bunk beds really small. Maybe ok for kids.

The place was big and equipped with all necessary things you may need when traveling like iron, washing machine and kitchen appliances. Also place is located in Bellano center, very near to the public beach and market.

Very close to the station, the shops and the lake. Bellano is quieter and more relaxed than its more famous neighbour Varenna and it is not overrun with tourists. A very pleasant place to stay.

There was nothing to dislike apart from the rainy weather, which is out of anyone’s control!

Great location opposite supermarket you can buy everything you need. Kitchen facilities were fantastic, little balcony was nice, being a residential area was quiet, close to the Bellano ferry terminal and train station. The host was very helpful.

We found the bed low and getting a little uncomfortable after a few nights, but we are an older couple! Perhaps a mattress topper would help.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the train and not much further to the ferry stop, with several nice bars, cafés and restaurants along the way. There is a handy grocery shop on the street corner (Conad), plus a little bakery. Apartment was well equipped and comfortable. It had lots of kitchen equipment for cooking sessions. Quiet area. It felt as though the owners had just left the keys to their home with everything as they have it. Diagoro our host gave us a welcome tour of the house and kept in touch by WhatsApp to check we had everything we needed. The visitor information was helpful. We especially liked having the 1:25000 topographic map of the Sentiero de la Viandante. We walked several sections of that, it's high enough to get great views, but isn't an alpine challenge. We were able to do linear sections and get local train or ferry to or from the start or finish of section.

On Friday and Saturday night there is music at the Lido on the shore, which is quite loud, but it finishes at midnight. Double glazing on kitchen patio door would sort it, but just closing the various internal doors worked fine for an undisturbed early night. We were up before church bells in the mornings but, as usual in Italian towns and villages, there are bells ringing between at intervals between sailing 7a.m. and 8 a.m. from various churches. We liked it, the churches are far enough away to be pleasantly characterful, not annoyingly loud.

Everything! Nice and friendly hoost and nice and big apartement. Loved the balcony and the well equiped kitchen. It’s a small beach just around the corner and a foodstore on the otherside of the street.

The location was very good. Quiet and close to the local shops and restaurants. Has a car park.

The shower was very small and tight. The beds weren't very supportive and the bed linen felt a bit worn.
